What's Happening???

I have one from December 2017 that is still going. The leaves actually started turning red again about a month ago.

Today is May Day, May the 1st. As the clocks just tick over to 0030. A celebration of spring and to drive away evil spirits. Der Erste Mai, Tag der Arbeit.
Today will be a public holiday to many and this day is also used to celebrate and encourage workers rights.

It also means that just under a year ago I became a wife. I still find it difficult to say that, or call myself a wife, it literally has never really sunk in. I get better at calling my Laura, my wife. I introduce her slowly as my wife, but it's never rolled off the tongue just yet and neither has the reality really sunk in that I'm a wife myself, which I think is pretty cool.

I told wifey where we were going for our anniversary to the Bavarian eatery and she was very excited because it's new and she wanted to go with me. At the moment I seem to be battling fluctuating highs and lows of bipolar and I am worried that I might be on huge downer tomorrow. I'll just have to take my medication properly and hope all is well. I think it should be, I think after we go out ill crash down from too much emotion probably when we come home which is fine, I just want the meal to go well..

We are looking at a drizzling rain kind of day, which is actually fitting as that was our wedding too, well except the Gods smiled down on us as we performed our ritual and made the sun came out right on time and then once we finished in rained again, so I think it would be nice to have the rain too even though I book table for 2 outside in the bier garten.

Well in the end I took your advice but as it's wet and miserable here today I will be baking this afternoon,bread,scones,muffins are on the agenda.

Grey day here only been back at work two days and I feel I need a break ! going to Fuerteventura friday/sat with the Grandkids for a week , I cant wait to spend real time with them ( I only have Dominic now on Fridays !!)

 

I think I might go and get some Siew yuk farn + gai lan for lunch. it's always nice in the belly plus I believe pork fat helps lubricate my joints. Maybe it was a placebo but my Norse Guru told me that once and well, I always think I feel better in my aches and pains after pork.

 

Sounds good..but isn't it like 7AM there? early lunch..

Yes, that's why I said lunch. it'll be in hours time I just had a noodle cup lol.

 

We have like 17hrs to get broke up and then we won't make it to our anniversary. but that's not gonna happen. cause I'm injured with a bad back and she has to take care of me.
