What's Happening???

Saw the passing out parade at Pukapanja, it was a long march for cadets.

 

It's raining and windy and cold. I love seeing the waves roll in though.. Usually, because it's sheltered here and requires east wind for waves, it's very calm in the bay.

A woman bought seven of my driftwood fridge magnets : D

 

A woman is gonna have too much stuff stuck to her fridge...

 

I don't care, I have her money : P

Also maybe they were for gifts.

 

Not really a sooky type of bloke but if i sit and think about what those poor soldiers went through and then how they were treated upon return i end up with tears streaming...

 

Got to go to Jury Duty AGAIN in 2 weeks. This is the second time in 2 years, really it's been more like the span of a year, that I've been requested to serve.

No, it's quite boring... I'll make sure to bring a book this time when they go through the orientation. I pretty much have to take public transportation, because there is no free parking where the courthouse is located.

I got dismissed by an attorney on the 2nd day the last time, it was an assault case.

It's one of those things I hear about.. but it's almost mythical to me.. like, does it really happen, or just on television? I think I once assumed it was a U.S. thing.
JURY DUTY. So adult.
