In Montreal they do it every weekend. It is crazy to go watch - these guys essentially have foam taped to hockey sticks and just beat the shit out of each other. It's awesome.

 

Taking a mental health day. My son said he was sick but I know a faker when I see one, I wasnt born yesterday. But I dont mind, he needed a mental health day (kindergarten is stressful these days!) and so do I. So he went back to sleep and i'm relaxing and drinking coffee

 

Also sometimes when hipforums is really slow and I post in several threads in a row but no one else is posting, I feel like i'm screaming into an abyss

Been there done that after Hurricane Harvey in Houston a few years ago. There were mountains of donated clothes. Lots of work but I was glad to be able to help.

Good morning all.
We're going to a jazz and blues festival for two nights in Oamaru. There I'd also a playground there where everything seems to have been made for adults because it's big. Like, the tower thing you have to climb to go down a slide.. I don't think I even could have done it when I was 8.
