Looks like Quark is getting a dog delivered. I don't know if it was purchased, or lost and found.

When people in China order Chinese food, do they just order food?

Do they ever order "American food?"

While dog meat is believed to have health benefits most Chinese don’t engage in the practice anymore

Don’t forget Dragon's horn (fossilized dinosaur remains) which when ground up and combined with other ingredients contain supposedly miraculous healing properties [IMG]

Most of them have "Chinese food" delivered. It's very cheap and really good.

For American food, McDonald's and KFC are here, but they also have Chinese equivalents. There's a place called Wallace that I order from a few times a week (it sells KFC's menu but looks similar to McDonald's). $4 Canadian for a chicken burger, chicken wrap, 2 chicken wings, and coke (delivered to your door with no delivery fee/tip... You don't tip, ever. It just doesn't happen... Also, you pay by your phone when you order, so there's never any cash to be exchanged anyway).

American food chains are basically the same price as back home, plus they charge a delivery fee. Most people only eat-in at McDonald's and stuff like that.

20180626_162548.jpg The circled store is one of my "go to" breakfast places. Under $2 Canadian for 3 pork buns and a coffee. It's called Babi Mantou (they're absolutely everywhere in this province)

Judging from their waste lines I'd say no.

The Chinese still have a strong culture, while the US resembles reality TV more every day. NYC has a wild variety of ethnic groups and you could spend a lifetime checking every cheap mom and pop restaurant, but its an increasingly rare exception in modern day Rome.

While it’s cool comfortable and dry right now, starting on Friday and continuing through the 4th of July holiday (6 days) were expecting a sustained heatwave all along the East coast.

Prepare to crank up those A/C Units

I'm preparing to go to France on the 5th of July. My mind is on that. There is a heated pool, the dogs and it is really idyllic. My Uncle's place.

Are all men in Croatia tall?

  17. Not all, of course.
But on average - yeah, the men here are tall.
Now that I think about it, I am around 168 cm, and I can't remember many guys that are my height or shorter than me.
But of course, there are exceptions. Like I said though - on average the men here tend to be tall.

Especially Dalmatians and Herzegovinians. They're tall dark Mediterranean beasts.

Now I am curious about how tall are yall.

I'm just over 6 feet tall.

  19. My ex boyfriend was like 6'3.
    That was perfect.

  20. Aren't the Dutch the tallest people?

    @Asmodean is that true?
