My middle name is my dad's first name. I didn't give my son my name though. His middle name is one of my uncles who is currently dying of Alzheimer's and won't have any grandkids to carry on his name. My daughter's is her maternal great-grandmother's name.

 

So, I have to interview someone tomorrow, and he sends a resume to my company, but on LinkedIn, he has a job on there that he's currently doing, that's not on his resume. Someone else interviewed him already, and he told her that he's not currently working. Hmm. I've always wanted to be a detective, now's my big chance.

 

The triplets go by their middle names.

Their first names are Latina because their mother is from Puerto Rico.

Their middle names are English.

I have ideas on what I'd replace it with... Apparently they're "unrealistic". So we have to keep living this idea for a while longer.

 

Organising my father's funeral with 2 brothers who agree on nothing. Father was 97 and very very well and self sufficient up to a few weeks ago and I know that he would have hated this bullshit! He'd dead and I bet he doesn't give a shit about how many cars are required, whether he is still in the hospital morgue or the parlour, or who is invited to the after funeral get together.
Meanwhile I am shutting off his telephone, dealing with insurance etc. You know, the important stuff.
