Charlie's passing will come in a matter of a couple of days - Maybe Monday or Tuesday.

This evening I learned about "Terminal Agitation". It's a common restlessness and agitation before death. They have a ton of medications for it but you end up chasing it with medications that make them sleep, then they wake restless and agitated. It's difficult to get medication down them, and then it takes a little while for the medication to knock them out again.

It's not an easy thing to be involved in. He tries to get up and to get out of the bed. He wants to "go" and to "leave" even though he doesn't know where he is, or really who anyone is.

Finally, this evening his wife was able to accept that he is "Actively Dying" which is another new term I learned about.

Anyway, I don't have much more to say tonight.

My Daughter just phoned she is stuck in Amsterdam ! supposed to be going to a trade show in Munich with her work but her onward flight has been cancelled because of heavy snow at her destination

Yeah I know what the phrase means I don’t understand the context. Takes one to know what? Usually it’s something a person says when they’re being insulted.
