Well I'm expecting a online chat with someone at some point, and I really need to speak to that person. But that's not really it. It's just the wee small dead hours feeling here. I'm not in the mood for it. And time seems to be moving really slowly.

oh... i get that. When I went to London in May of 2017, I wanted it to be daylight already too! This doesn't totally relate, but my reason was because you couldn't go down to the lobby and have breakfast (Holiday Inn Express in East Croydon) until after 6 or something. So I would sit up in my room on HF or something drinking tea and instant coffee they put on your dresser.

 

Here's me this morning. I more stunned the first ball rather than drawing back on it, but I hit it clean, it sounds clean and at least got an angle for the final red.

 

Wow. Damn good.

 

And here's my case, all packed and I'm ready for battle later today. I'm excited I finished my practice well. Now I just have to focus while I'm in match and try to keep my teqnique.

I call my cue, Yggdrasil, because that was a tree that means a lot to me and I named the case Jörmungandr as for the world serpent also in Norse mythology.

I have been thinking about getting a new case, one entirely made from hard wood, that way I could engrave my own runes and inscriptions into it.
