what else is new? my tablet died on me so I'm not online as much as I used to be. but that was like not too long ago so I don't know what my excuse was. Oh, I had folks visiting this summer and then just got used to not being online I guess.

 

My pool season starts today

 

Just sussing out the dating site I'm on. Trying to second-guess it. Who is serious, who is just out for money. Who is there just for attention. I'm thinking about how to write an article on it for a Men's magazine. It certainly is an experience.

 

Oh okay, I get it. Wow that's so different to how we run a league lol.
Basically later today there'll be 4 round of 6 matches. 24 frames all up. Could be 20-4, 12-12, 13-12. Doesn't matter, result is end result.
If you're a average player you're probably division 3. We have up to 7 divisions, so if you're a beginner you start in a team that's 7th Div.
Above average filter between Div 2 and Div 1. Div one is also full of veterans and Pros.
I play Div 2, so considered above average.
To me an average player knows what they want to do, but can't do it.
I look at myself as I know what I want to do and I know how to do it, but inconsistent.

So you'd no way be a beginner on a Div 2 or 3, 4 team. They just wouldn't want you.

I was lucky enough to land myself straight into a Div 2 team. I went to a money comp one day I thought it was for fun, ended up in a room full of pros I didn't know it yet, but I played really good and they referred me to a team and they liked me.
