I don't usually have problems feeling bloated but I definitely have days where all my clothes look rubbish on me and I feel rubbish in clothes, but remaining naked I feel fine. It sucks when those days are work days.

    Nice, lucky you [IMG]

We've had a milder than normal winter but it's still my hope the Chargers coming from 70 degree temps
won't have time to acclimatize to our weather.

That's pretty on par if not warmer than my weather. Why rolling of the eyes?

There is a big flock of migrating Robins in the neighborhood. They were so beautiful flitting from tree to tree in the morning sun. If the light caught on their wings they looked like angels flitting from one bare tree branch to the next.

I had to go get the 16 yr. old granddaughter from school.

She says she was sick but she didn't look it.

Same, I always used up to the maximum amount of absences you were allowed before they held you back

My mom got tired of fighting me after a while, she knew I was faking but would just give a long suffering sigh and tell me to go back to bed

    I did it, too.

All I told my granddaughter was to stay hydrated and to call me if she needed me.

I think the being held back thing is so interesting. Because we don't do that here.
Do you think it's a good thing? I feel like it would be, but I haven't experienced it, so..

  18. I did it too. Well, my mom was pretty cool about it and I was a good kid, so she would write me notes when needed.
I didn't hate school though. I sometimes avoided PE or Math or something.
I don't know why it's so difficult to make PE more likeable.
We sometimes did fun stuff like badminton or dancing (waltz, foxtrot, cha cha) or had to come up with our own gymnastics routine using ribbons....but the rest of it was bleh.
I would just make it more easygoing. I would make sure people move and use their time doing something, but I would let them choose what they want to do.

Lived with my aunt and uncle my Jr and senior years in high school. She would call me once and if I didn't get up--she would pour cold water on whatever part of my head was showing. That, friends, will get one up immediately!

Yeah, me too. I hated PE. I think part of it is just that it's a time when we feel intensely self-conscious... Like, looking back it's hard to remember why. But I saw a thing on T.V. about how teenage brains are physically different and release more stress hormones when observed and stuff.
I was very awkward and very shy. So that's why I hated school really. It was an intensely embarrassing and difficult time. I feel lucky to have found the right path to who I am now because I sometimes meet adults who are still like I was then and I just wanna... hug them and shake them.
