What's Happening?

There are always strings.

 

How cute!

 

I took some things to the donation point in the grocery store parking lot today. The best thing was some matchstick blinds still in the wrappers.

I went in the store and told hubby they'd be gone in 5 minutes.

I came out of the store maybe 10 minutes later, and sure enough, they were gone.

I'm glad somebody snatched those up right away.

 

Freaking hot here!

Still didn't put my bananas in the fridge.

 

I'm waiting on the guy to come fix my car.

I bet my son told me he'd be here an hour earlier than what the guy actually told my son.

Five hours of sleep isn't going to work well for me but...

 

Visitors again today... Before they go back to Germany.

 

Ugh...

The mechanic "hit a little bit of a snag". They sold him the wrong sensor; back in an hour and a half; "a little bit more" now it's going to be $200 instead of $165.

Oh well. We've got to have it.

 

Watching the little one today...

Hubby has the day off, he's off to his doctors appointment...Then going to see his dad....

 

At least it is going to be fixed!!!


Been catching up on stuff I had to put off when I was too sore. It is not going as quickly as I would like as Mia has been working some overnight shifts so I am trying to be quiet so she can sleep before her evening classes. Oh well, it will get done.

My visitors from Germany have left... They are such great people. Hope to see them again sometime.


A lot of weird synchronicities I have with her father, the original owner of this place... It's like I'm picking up where he left off when he had to leave this place. I heard some great stories about here from when the lady that grew up here was a kid.


She doesn't know who the ghost in the photo is though...

 

It's probably a house wight.

 

The car is fixed.

We will drive it around in the morning and then take it to get the emission inspection. After that we will go to the tag office and renew the tag. Yay. We will be legal again until May.

Working more in the meditation garden... almost have the stone path done. Started at both ends and meeting in the middle... Like finishing a puzzle with random pieces from two different boxes.

Still have several ferns to plant.


Have a few bags of mulch left, but there's some thin spots to go over.

The car is legal!

Hubby wanted some lumber to build raised beds. We got some 10 x 2's in the car. They went all the way up to the gear shift in the car. I was holding them off the gear shirt as he drove. We got to the round about and he thought he could go but a woman came flying thru after he started going. He suddenly slammed on the breaks and the lumber slid up and caught a couple of my fingers between it and the knob on the gear shift. It knocked the car up into Neutral. Ouch! They are throbbing a little bit.

So, that's what's happening!

 

Today, this young woman's mother was in a serious car accident. She's sitting at the hospital with her, alone. Her older sister should be there but apparently she's "too upset about her father's death" to go to the hospital?

I want to wring her neck. I helped raise these two girls with my kids.

The mother use to be my best friend. That lasted about 15 years until she did my dirty.

She apparently ran off the road, over corrected, and flipped her car.

The daughter says she has multiple fractures like neck and back.

I cannot believe the older daughter is too fragile to go to the hospital. That's bullshit. Put on your big girl panties. She's approx. 36 years old!
