I woke at 6:00 and couldn't go back to sleep because my leg is aching.

Hubby has a pain doc appt. this afternoon which I'll drive him to. I think I'll take the triplets with us but I may leave them with their older sister...dunno. His hand is still swollen AF and the underside of the wrist and palm are bruised. I tried to tie his sling so that his hand was closer to his heart than his lap. I don't know that he will leave it. This swelling is after he's spent 4 or 5 hours in the bed. I don't know that elevating is going to help it.

The grandson is visiting with a friend this week.

It looks like Zen Karma must've "Hit the wrong button" again and put our thread on hide.

I've contacted him about it.

Please continue to check back here and continue posting here even though it might be a pain in the ass to find until he fixes the screw up.

I went to camp with church groups and Campfire groups and never heard it.

 

i dont have a feed

i just check new posts and go from there..its fairly slow so everything is usually there

sometimes i click on watched threads when the new posts is full of crap im not interested in (and that usually results in going to many of them of unfollowing manually lol)

 

Only when I search for it on the Main HF page under the "Random Thoughts" category.

 

Yes, when I asked Zen Karma about our thread I was told that none of the Random Thoughts threads would be in the news feed any longer.

 

Why not? I hope they're not trying to phase this section of the board out.

I resigned my moderator position yesterday so I don't know. I didn't know anything about Random Thoughts being removed from the Feed until I saw it wasn't there this morning.

 

Hubby's pain docs looked at his arm today and told him that it most likely is a fractured Humerus.

It took both of them, and my son, to convince him that he needs to have it seen.

He says we are going to the emergency room in the morning.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday with a broken arm but he's going to get to the ER on Tuesday.

Bravo, Old Chap.

Can i just talk about how ridiculous it is to hide one of the most trafficked areas of HF. Random thoughts has always been popular.

And all these years we've been complaining to hide the sex forums and random thoughts gets hidden instead, what gives

My maternal grandmother, "Granny". She had 12 brothers and sisters, grew almost all of her own food, made a hell of an apple pie and smoked cigarettes till the day she died at the age of 97. Once she called me "the meanest little bastard she had ever met", lol. On their "honeymoon" she and my granddad suckered tobacco out in the field, went home and ate and went to sleep (so they claimed).

I visited her when the impeachment of Bill Clinton was going on and asked her opinion. She got very serious, pointed a boney finger at me and said "I'd like to go down there [Washington, DC] and kick somebody's ass!" One of the last of the strong, old fashioned women.
