I made some juice this afternoon for the week. Orange, apple, kiwi, spinach leaf, pineapple. It's the best. Anyway my juicer spits out all the yuck into this mush which seems like a massive waste, so I took the whole lot and spread it out like butter and then dehydrated it. Now I have little chips for the rabbits. :) and they aren't horrible for human consumption either. They remind me of bird seed bars.

I checked hubby's arm a few hours ago and the swelling was all the way down into his fingers but not so much in the upper arm.

He is moving it more and he swears the swelling is leaving through his hand.

    Whatever.

It was a great time to grow up. No bloody cell phones, meth, school shootings or any of the other insanity kids go through today. The cars and the music were much cooler also.

This was the car I bought from my friend Todd. It's a '75 Mercury Montego.

I worked at a grocery store as a bagger and one summer I must have saved every dime to buy a set of Outlaw II aluminum wheels & white letter tires and a Rockford Fosgate Punch 75 with subwoofers. I really thought I was the shit, lol. I'd pull into the high school parking lot blasting Time from Dark Side Of The Moon or something and wearing my shades. I was really very puzzled why girls didn't want to have sex with me; I had a cool car, I drank, listened to stoner music, had long shaggy hair, etc. I guess they were all square or something. Damn, it was fun to be alive.

Do any kids do normal shit anymore?

Many people would say I'm very blessed in this life.

But I can't help but feel very cursed.... :(

Note any deviation from the original lyrics is a regional thing (Northeastern US)

Just plant a little watermelon right over my head
and let the juice seep through,
Just plant a little watermelon right over my head,
That's all I ask of you.

Southern fried chicken tastes mighty fine,
but nothing tastes better than a watermelon rind
so plant a little watermelon right over my head
and let the juice seep through.

And let the juice seep through,

Oh, baby let the juice seep through

I kind of fit that category too. Like there's some appeal of my life for others but then I think about it and I'm like sure, I might be able to live pretty good in theory, but I also battle a lot of health stuff too you know, that others don't get. Like, would I trade in what I have now to have normal eye site? To not have to hear tinnitus? To sleep again? To not have bipolar? To not have to go through mental torments?

Probably not. :p but! Maybe yes also.

Reminds me of a ICP song about a kid that find a lamp and gets a genie and has everything in the world only to grow old and realise what he didn't have wasn't anything he needed and would he trade it all back? Shit yeah fool give him that cause he had it all back then too. And he be like BLAAAAAM good weed and BLAAAAAM Nyquil and BLAAAAAM anything he wants.

Sorry I didn’t think there’s was anyone who grew up in the united states who hasn’t heard of that song,
whether you heard it in the boy scouts, or girl scouts, at summer camp, or in grade school.

Sweet car, bro!! Kids don't do normal shit now, they are too busy trying to do outlandish shit to put on social media, like eating Tide pods on a dare! Dumb asses. And they are fucking weak about everything it's so pathetic.

The 80s were the same no cell phones or internet and the only challenge came out of a game of Truth or Dare and that usually involved either kissing someone or taking off an item of clothing
