I went to the hardware store this morning to suss out a new column for my pergola as i think the dog got his rope around it and he pulled and well, some of the wood just fell off and looks old and worn out so I found the right wood and I'm gonna give it a go i didn't buy anything it's another weekend job but I know what I'm doing and getting at least.

and i almost convinced the shepherd club to fund me 50EU for my iracing series I said I'd do the logo into a design and eveything lol. hopefully they will that will fund me for my series i host for a while. they going to bring it up in next meeting. tbh it's stupid, i mean it wont help them out, i dont see anyone buying a dog because of a online series, but then, it does reach and gain an audience too. one of the members wanted to help me out anyway.

 

i also have tickets to jurassic park on saturday, we got like the middle of the room but on the side with 2 chairs on their own. thats the way i do it, i dont like sitting next to people

 

I've been playing a brain training game on my nintendo DS and when I first started my brain was like 64yrs old and now after a few weeks I'm down to 29. I'm finding my problem solving is becoming much better. I also know that maths is a weakness to me. There's a game where you play rock paper scissors and so it shows you rock and you say paper, cause paper beats rock but it also asks you to lose so it'll say rock and you say scissors as rock beats scissors anyway I'm 15-20 seconds faster than my miss at that. She beats me in near all, but I have the record in that lol and she can't come close but she knows a lot of the maths one better than me.

 

Wanted to get some weeds pulled and finish some mulching before it got too hot in the sun... Too bad it started out hot.

 

It feels smothering hot outside.

Hot here, going to a water park for a couple of hours.

 

Hubby's arm continues to be swollen and bruised from the shoulder down.

I got a peek at the bruising last night and noticed the swelling was down to the wrist.

He's bragging that the swelling is going down. Of course it is less swollen right now because he was in the bed all night.

I'm going to get some pics of it later and post them.

 

It's hotter than Hades...some people say hell but I say Hades.

 

Do you guys have insurance? Not that I'm trying to tell you what to do--okay, I am--but it sounds like something he should have looked at by a doctor

 

Yeah, he's got Medicare. He's just hard-headed as shit and he's ashamed that it happened because he has his bed piled full of stuff and sleeps to close to the edge because of it.

Heard this today for the first time in ages and was taken back to senior year in high school. My buddy Todd and I would hang out over at this older (20s, lol) married couple's house and would drink, smoke pot, watch porn, shoot guns and just have a hell of a time. Those were the best days of my life. I wish I could remember their names, they were cool as hell.

Now I'll be depressed all night.
