I'll trade you Glen. 95°F (35°C) here today with a heat index of 105°F. I prefer cold over the heat.

Yes, he can move it a little. He keeps showing me that and saying "nothing is disconnected". He things it's all muscle, tendon, ligament strain.

We've agreed that if it gets worse with swelling he will go to the doctor. Yesterday evening it was swelling into midway of his forearm.

I recommend ice, elevation, compression to help reduce the swelling

    I'm thinking maybe.

I swear, when I first saw him with his arm pinned like that, I thought it was going to be way worse.

His arm isn't better. I told him that when he goes to the pain doc on Monday the doc will tell him to get to an orthopedic doctor.

He told me that he was planning to wear a long sleeved shirt.

I told him that I'd tell on him and he told me I didn't need to go back with him

    LOL Think again, little man!

The outside of my window unit a/c - the housing- was hot as hell. I turned it off while I was away from home. I turned all of them off. This one, in the living room, got hot to the touch again. I felt the one in hubby's window and it wasn't hot.

The hose is stretched out across the yard from Winter drainage, and it's not hooked up to the house, so I just poured/splashed several buckets off water on the outside housing. It ran dirty.

I'm going back out to check on the housing temp again.

whats the inside the AC look like filters and all? . give the outside a good rinse with the hose. but they are meant to be hot .. that the heats from inside the house being absorbed in the gas.

I cleaned the interior fins last weekend and I keep the filter clean.

It's not getting too hot on the outside, yet.

It's very warm but not scalding hot like before I hit it with the water.
