What's Happening?

I spend a lot of time away from the computer and phone. But a lot of time on the computer when I want to ..

 

I've done really well not being on my phone. lots of times I leave it in the bathroom after a bath. Then it could be hours before I look for it.

 

I'd call her "Dora".

Does she have a monkey named "Boots"?

 

She looks more like Darla from Little rascals. People have always called her older sister Dora though. I call them Mary Kate and Ashley and they get really upset. Everyone thinks they are twins. No monkeys. Just lots of cats.

 

Aww, she's cute as a button! My daughter is 14 now. It's mainly the other kids that are impressionable on her that I'm concerned about. The good thing about that is she's with friends that make good grades, and that keeps me calm. Trying to keep her away from all the garbage.

I just tried to explain hubby's accident to my grandson's other grandmother (on facebook) and realized how fucked up it was:

"His arm is hurt. He fell out of the bed and got his arm wedged between the bed and the nightstand, twisted behind his back. No broken bones but it really, really hurts to move."

Olivine is a crystal that is good for calming children and pets.

 

probably not great for walking on or inhaling though

 

Actually, there are green beaches in Hawaii made of these little stones.

i expected the crystals to be small and jagged like snowflakes..not little stones

 

Did not recognize this Crystal and looked it up..guess it's also called peridot? I know that one

 

Olivine is a variety of Peridot.

Olivine is very common and Peridot is more rare.

 

There's lots of unweathered olivine on Mars. This hints at a long dry spell on the planet as olivine breaks down in the presence of water. (I'm an astronomy geek, bet you didn't know that. )
