My granddaughters don't want to do anything but stay on their phones.

Luckily, the grandson has been down and they are playing a game in the house.

It involves a blindfold, plastic spatula, hammer, and scissors!

Luckily, I managed to forbid them playing with the scissors and hammer.

It's called "Granny" and they learned it on youtube. It's some sort of hide and seek.

 

This could be deadly... or at least bloody.

 

Yeah, their grandma got them Kindles for Xmas. I'm an adult,I can be online........ I limit their online time. I don't like them going on YouTube. It's 100 degrees and my oldest likes to put a blanket over herself and her head and go on the kindle........

 

I'm going outside with popsicles and bubbles.

 

Came 9th in the opening race of out next season tonight. Some fucken asshole turned me. I came back to race him hard and I got around him and I felt like getting on the radio and telling him off like you see that? You see how that's done? That's how it's fucken done! At some point you gotta man up and realise you've been beaten but noooo. Some people are real fuckwit.

I was working at Nascar once. As a cashier. It was hot and I took my boots off. Coworker next to me started saying I was unprofessional. It's NASCAR!! Nobody cared.

 

I take my shoes off all the time. Everyone does. We got these standing desks that raise and lower, and when you're standing, we have these soft pads to stand on...so everyone just takes their shoes off when they stand.

 

I'm going to go off on a rant here, forgive me. My daughter is so attached to her damn phone it's beyond annoying. She Has it everywhere she goes in the house, gets in the car with it and constantly on it while we are going somewhere, spends most of her time indoors in her room on the stupid phone, etc. I asked her one day to tell me how to get from her school to our house, asked her what our address is, asked her if she knew what mom and my phone number was - she pouted and almost started to cry because she felt I was giving her a hard time. Not paying attention to other shit that matters.....

 

Hide and seek with a hammer and scissors? What's supposed to happen? Got damn these kids!

 

I wonder if she is posting on Hip Forums. My phone hardly existed to me until they revamped the site last fall. Now I'm like that, attached to my phone, talking to you.

I don't know! They finally laid the hammer on the table by the door and only used it to pretend they were prying boards off the door.

They made a post it note that said scissors and used it.

I was like, "I'm going to have a lot of explaining to do the the police, the ambulance drivers, the ER workers, and you're parents...so NO!"

 

Maybe she is going through her teenage phase early. (She has the talking back part down). And parenting her as a teen will be a breeeeze. I can only hope.
