What's Happening?

Reminds me of a customer of my mom's when she bartended. Guy played hooky on 9/11 he would brag how lucky he was. Then he died in the ferry accident a few months later.

 

Their station, NBC affiliate WYFF of Greenville, South Carolina, identified them as anchor Mike McCormick and photojournalist Aaron Smeltzer.

 

I'll probably take a nap soon instead of going over to the granddaughters. Hubby has that under control.

I really need to rest if I can.

So much went on this weekend.

The love of my life got married to someone else.

My daughter stressed me.

I had two days of vomiting and bloody diarrhea.

And, my sleep was badly broken up.

Shit!

A pretty big limb just dropped out of the oak tree and fell right on the front deck. There's busted limb pieces all the way up to the front door. They are under the chair that Emma is resting in and she doesn't even want to come in.

 

Day 4 of record May heat in Michigan. It was to hot to golf yesterday.

Home sick

But not homesick.

I mean, I stayed home from work because I feel like crud. Gonna work a little from here and maybe watch a feel-good go-to sick movie in my jammies.

Then a nap depending how I'm feeling.

I have to grab a shower before I go over to his house and learn the details.

Ive been there little longer than I was supposed to, but ive other plans is I dont go to conway. id try csx but that means drug tests im in the door here as long Im not working with machines and only office they dont sweep for any drugs. all they find is cannabis but railroads have zero tol .

 

Well Dollar General downgraded the job they offered my son from receiving manager to "cycling" which was basically overseeing guys emptying trash out of trailers when they returned from store deliveries. They had impossible expectations and wanted him 6 days for 14 hours a day.

He was so stressed that he threw up on the way to work on 2 different days.

Anyway, he walked out today.

It's 3 weeks until myrtle beach vacation where the triplets are playing in the world series. He will find work after that.
