Being out here in the country plus it being the Twiight Zone makes for getting sort of used to all kinds siren and/or unusual sounds. The rock quarry, less than 2 miles away is supposed to blow a siren say a minute before a blast - which is bullshit. They blow up shit sometimes all day and night long (though that's been more than 2 yrs ago) and that siren didn't sound any more than a couple or 3 times a day, if that. There are booms, and then ambulances and there is a fire station straight down my road, sometimes the popo comes down through here too.. So, I've sort of become noise blind - as far as outside this property.

Inside here I know all the sounds that are supposed to be here.

Its beginning to rain/drizzle here again...and hearing it rain is a really good sound. All the windows across the front that I can raise are up. Across the back the AC is on.

I've already fallen in love with this litte yr old Gimli that has 6 toes on 3 feet and 5 toes on the other. He is hesitant, but sweet and very affectionate once he is used to you. I'm going to be posting his feet. I'm now obsessed with the polydactyl cat and cat feet. lol I have too many pictures already. :D

I saw a domestic situation getting a little out of hand at the grocery store parking lot. I was afraid for the women. The man had pushed her a few times and kicked her in the butt a few times. She was crying when I went past her.

I sat and watched them as I called the police to come check on it.

The police dispatcher could not find the grocery store. She didn't have an address for it.

Anyway, the woman took her child and drove off one way while the drop-off dad drove out the other way. It resolved with me on the phone with the cops who don't know where the grocery store (at the intersection of two state highways) is.

I got the store address off my receipt when I got home. I called back to give them the damn address of the store for future reference. They acted like everything was cool and that they'd sent an officer out to check even though I told them the participants had driven off.

    Ugh.

All 9 Junipers are in the ground... Need to woodchip the mounded beds, but not today. Until they start to get full sized they are just a weird grouping of shrubs in the backyard. Once grown they will block the view of the nearest neighbor's house.

The other two Blue Arrow Junipers are doing the same thing except for the bedroom windows. They are also framing one of the meditation garden entrances.

    Blue Arrow...

Speaking of "arrow", I dug up an arrowhead today... and possibly a handaxe/chipping tool. Arrowhead is fully formed and not broken. Both came out of the same hole, same level.

Lou pearlman died. I honestly believe that he wasn't a good person. So no loss there.

While mowing the lawn yesterday I was thinking about how after someone says there was a lawnmower accident. Nobody ever says "was it bad?"
I guess it's pretty common knowledge that if you are in a lawnmower accident it is going to be pretty bad.

:yikes: Three at the same time is going to be such fun.

Been busy here as we did my sisters birthday on Sunday. Made dinner and all were merry.

Today was so nice and no humidity so I started early this morning on scraping my garage door as I have been wanting to paint but it has been too hot. Two coats all done including trim. I also did the door inside the garage coming into the house and the two steps.

If I stay motivated I will do the front door tomorrow. :)

I'm getting ready to bake a cake that his girls can decorate when they get home from school. They were so proud of their mom's birthday cake in June.
