We watched the triplets play 4 games today. We got to sit in the shade the whole time so that was awesome.

They won the first two games and lost the second two. They had a brief break between games 2 and 3. Many of them ate heavy foods and they just didn't play well in the heat after doing that.

We came home before the rest of the games because hubby had been hurting for 5 hours out there, plus we needed to get home to feed our animals.

Sad Day For GLEN..... Where I Lived Before You Can See From The Gt Western Hwy About 1 Km

Away......Knew Something Had Changed So I Packed My Powerful Binoculars And Went For A Drive.

Sure Wished I Hadn't......The "Italian Bastard" That Bought The Farm Has Gone Around The Old House

(built in 1852).....And Knocked Most Of It Down With An Excavator....:rage:.

I Wanted To Retain The House Block (about 3 acres) So This Would Not Happen......Also He Has Been

Flooded With Offers From Potential Buyers From Sydney.....He Point Blank Refused To Sell......Good God

The Man Owns Tens Of Thousands Of Acres In This District How Would Letting Me Stay There Or

Selling To Peeps That Wanted To Restore It To It's Former Glory In Any Way Affect Him...???...

    Cheers Glen.

my attempt at saving my oyster mushrooms through mycelium liquid culturing seems to be doing well. day..4 and no sign of the ugly green mold, which means, with any luck, the peroxide wash of the piece of cake killed off those spores. and i'm seeing what appears to be mycelium fluff floating about... it's kinda like a lava lamp

Night And When The Days Get Rough......:relieved:.

I Knew Deep Down Inside That It Wouldn't Work......But I Gave It My Best Shot Nevertheless......:persevere:

    Cheers Glen.

EDIT:- Ten Minutes Later I Glanced Out The Window And Here's One Of His Mates

With His Head Stuck Through The Cage Bars Sharing Old Cockies Meal......With

It's late and I should go to bed. But I took a late nap, so I'm all screwed up sleep wise.

It's greed, man. I kind of worry the people who own the land adjacent to my place will sell one day to someone who clearcuts it all.

I was just outside and saw the first lightning bug of the season. That's a 'firefly' for all you yankee dudes.

Orioles are finally visiting my pad
They are possessive little buggers. I thought the blue jays were bad. Orioles seem even more pushy.

Took off my pants and put them on the floor Friday night. Got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The needle part of the belt must have been sticking straight up because when I stepped on the buckle it hurt like hell and when I woke up there was a hole there and a few drops of blood. Luckily nothing noticeble on the bed.

Gotta catch a flight from Shanghai to Chicago in a few hours... Then Toronto bound after an hour layover. Back to China on June 1st.

Fuck, I hope I can sleep on the plane. I've only been able to do it once though.

firefly is the yankee version? i always here lightning bug around here, i think i've only heard firefly from southerners.

in my experience, it's only possible when at the point of extreme exhaustion.

North East here and I always thought firefly was the name of a tv show. And lightning bug was those things you put in a jar and look at as a kid.
