What's Happening?

Moonie maybe he is just being cautious about his home. Nothing like having some crazy person know where you live.........not saying your friend is but possibly he has had some one who was around. Stalking is a scary thing.......or he is a player.

 

Hope you get the results quickly. I had to use olive oil to get that glue all off. I think in part as it was on for longer than just a few hours. Not sure why regular glues are not as good.

no, thanks to my mom, I think of allpossible scenarios....and even take it further than my momdid. Mom, you taught me well, even though you annoyed the shit out of me every time I had a new friend or something and drove me crazy....lol
I am protective of the people I love.....so that is my interest...and i know what a gem my friend is, and anyone would be lucky to know her.....but I can understand him being very cautious and careful, too.
The thing that annoyed me, was when she was here the day before she left, she got teaxt from him....so tomorrow, you will be here? Can you send me a photo of you now? WTH! ...How many photos have you seen of her? Countless.....but I took a few photos of her anyway, and she texted him back one....Me not dressed up and no make up. Either you like what you see or don't. he just texted back beautiful.....She is also one of those people who look softer and prettier without any make up on at all, and I thought she looked gorgoeus that day, in spite of what she thoghuht. I said go, just the way you are now.....
Anyway, who knows.....i told her to call me if she hits a snag or is left alone again like she did the first night...and i have not heard anything....and i won't bother her at all.....so I can only think no news is good news now, and hoepfully, she is having the time of her life filled with happy memories. I have no fear...he won't love her after really getting to know her...as I do. She is quite special....

She can get mad and annoyed, and when she gets short with me at times, i want to run away even, though....LOL

i dont know what you are looking at, the trunk is clearly being hit with the center of that bolt. if lightning didnt hit the base of trunks then people that are shorter than trees would never be hit by lightning.

Oh, you mean like the first night? No, he asked if she wanted to go for sushi with him and his friends....and she does not eat sushi, so she declined the invite. She was there with no sleep over 48 hours...a big 5 hour drive.....and exhausted, too.....so that is the full dimension of it.

Everyone loves a good love story,thoguh, so that is what I make myself smile thinking about for them.

but talk about temper. She was workjing for IBM here, but got angry one day......as the females she worked with found out she was talking to his cop across the ocean and they started flirting with him and texting with him...and rubbing her face in it.....and she went off the ddep end about it one day and punched the computer there. Needless to say, she lost her job there that day....but is now employed with home care and has killer hours......and the people who;s mom she tkaes care of love her and only want her. She is so gentle handling the elderly woman, more so than any of the other workers....does not fall asleep on the job....thinks of everything and really cares about the people she is there to help......the stories she has told me has made me cry.....and trust...not a problem...i would trust her in my house with me gone for many days now with my animals. that is a rare thing.

No, in their 30's.....I was angry at them.....this had been going on for weeks, and one day she just lost it after keeping it together for so long, and they still talk to him. yes, assholes.....That was her friend. She trusted you and confided in you people about it, and you looked him up on facebook and started....2 of them really?
I would not have punched the computer, but I would have walked out in tears probably.....I don't know how she held it together for as long as she did, and she had been with IBM for 12 years.

 

That's good! Maybe there is something to the 3 days thing.

Also, I think the final last straw that threw my friend into a rage, was that one of them coyly said to her..."I'm the seductress....ha ha"

My friend is not a seductress.....but I tried to tell her, then how good is he for you...knowing you work with those two females....and in my mind, is not very manly or gentlemanly of him.....I have been hoping she gets over him, as i am tired of hearing stories about him where I can clearly see he is a player, but of course, love is blind.......or whatever that is.....

On the other hand, another friend of hers on facebook saw the fireman on her face book page and asked my friend, could she ask him to be a friend, too. She was annoyed, but said go ahead......and she told the fireman...a friend of mine wants to add you as her friend and talk to you, too, and he told her..."No.....I don't want to do that..." he immediately made me like him when I heard that.

 

I cannot believe that we are passed the middle of August already......and pretty soon it will be September.....time certainly flies, doesn't it?

We're having a good rain with a little thunder!

 

It was a weird rain. It blew in from the East and caused the roof to leak in the laundry room. That rarely happens. Usually it's the hurricane band rains that cause that.

I think I'm going to meet my daughter for an early lunch tomorrow at Hooters. Her girlfriend is going to take my grandson to a children's birthday party but she's dropping my daughter off a Hooters first. One of my daughters friends is going to meet her there. I told her I was broke and could order a coke because I really want to see them. She said she got paid so she'd buy me what I want!

 

My lunch date got pushed back two hours... At least I'll be ready early this time.

Those are my only plans today except I need to go to the grocery store. Yuck.

 

I was getting a little concerned that my daughter might bail on the lunch plans; but she just let me know that she's still at the hairdresser and that we are definitely going to lunch when she is finished.
