Whatcha writing about NPQ?
Writing is the only artistic thing I can physically do when I have a artistic vision and lots of people like my writing. You don't get to read it here though, but my newsletter and Race run downs on the internet sim leagues are good I have people liking our FB page and articles just to read them and even iRacing wanted me to write a article to make their front page.

I have a few books in my head to write. Not sure which one I want to write first.

The idea stems from not meeting Jeff Gordon and I am going to call it - The Day I didn't meet Jeff Gordon, the journey of a life long fanatic.

Basically just a book about my America adventure and what we did and how we had fun etc. But I'm gonna put my heart and soul into it so when Jeff Gordon reads it, he will want to meet me.

 

Similar time span writing block here

I wrote so much back in college that I became a pretty good at it. Now I struggle to write a good email to represent the company I work for.

I guess writing posts on Hip are helping a little bit to keep me from losing my abilities entirely though

 

When I first joined HF 8 years ago I was mostly sussing out characters for the book I wanted to write. This was my first forum where I had adults to post with, rather than other goth stooges lol. I never had the ambition to even think of a story though.

I wanted to be dead. Well the character to be dead. He wakes up and doesn't realise he's dead but you know the Pets won't play and as he goes about his day he realises he's dead and basically it's a black humour about what one does when their dead, all the dumb stuff you'd do. Anyway he soon finds another dead girl, she was going to Polish, an ancient goddess and he's trying to work out how to just move on from the earth as a ghost. I never thought of the ending because I had too much joy envisioning all the crazy whacky shit to wrote about as a ghost and then, it just never eventuated.

If that looks like you I might start calling you dad. Cause that's my dad right there 25 to 30 years ago. although now thinning and turning grey lol. Well he was brown hair but same stuff.

That's when he cut his hair a but I've seen old photos where he had hair down to his ass. so this is about approx when he met my mum I think, at this stage. He is almost 15 years older than her.

And then a much more recent one with his new champ, old grandpa. I like how his boy is completely idolising him. I can imagine him right now saying under his breath "goooood boy" and the pup just soaking all that in.

 

In addition to Marathon Monday, today is Patriot’s Day in Massachusetts commemorating the anniversary of the Battles of Concord/Lexington so pretty much everything’s closed.

The Runners today will be greeted with heavy rains, high winds, and temperatures in the low 40s – good luck

 

Stepped out this morning to put my dog on her runner & what was I met with?! Yep 40 degree temp, strong freezing wind, & snow. In the middle of April in Indiana.....

Just a story about three friends who go back to their hometown to attend their 20th high school reunion. They've all rejected their hometown for various reasons and are now forced to confront things while also trying to be a little too big city while back in their small town.

Loosely based on me, my friends, our experiences in high school, and what we guess our reunion would be like

I passed by him, I smiled at him, he smiled at me
I continued strutting to the bathroom like I'm hot shit. Then I looked in the mirror amd realized half my hair is sticking up in a gnarly tangled mess

I need to get my shit together
