I hate this rainy weather. I wish it would just rain at night and be sunny every day.

 

You're getting rain right now? It hasn't hit us just yet. We are on a tornado watch until 9pm.

 

No. Our last hard rain was a couple of hours ago. Now, it's cloudy, chilly, and breezy.

 

I'm not ready for it to be chilly again

 

It's only 60-ish but with everything wet, no sun, and the breeze it's definitely not warm.

I read an article about Tennessee's Five Little Winters. There are names for all the cold snaps.

I just tell my family that you can't count on it staying warm until after my birthday, which is May 4th.

You also can't count on it staying cool until after Halloween.

 

Fell asleep on the couch after eating Taco Soup, woke up with my kitty between my legs looking up @ me.
My family thought it was funny.

 

Last Halloween was kind of unique though. It didn't get cool until December. Frickin weird! When we were in Kansas a few years back, it snowed in May.

 

Taco Soup sounds good.

too depressed to write much. this shit is kicking my ass. doesn't help that it's rainy, cold and gloomy outside. At least I'm getting some writing done, although I'm sure at least half of it is pretty crappy. Oh well, i'll edit later.

 

ahh derp! I forgot I posted some pretty things. I try to bring about some happiness, but it's fleeting. meh, check those out if ya feel like it though. "the colors". I guess they are pretty nice. (something is) Too bad they are from previous years and it's still gloomy here right now. lol but one of those flowers has bloomed this year. Hoping the weather doesn't kill it!

 

I'm so not hitting my goal. I mean, my real goal is to finish the story, but finishing 50,000 words by the end of the month? Not happening.

I knew going in this was the wrong month to attempt something like this, but I figured, so what? It's not like I'm going to get in trouble if I don't finish. At least I'll have started something that I can work on throughout the spring.

 

The sun got low enough to get under the clouds for a few minutes. It was beautiful.

I got all excited about going to walk and by the time I got ready to go out, it was cloudy again.

Fuck it.

 

Just wanted to say I'm cheering you guys on! I wanted to write more this year but then I enrolled in school and I have too much shit going on so it isnt happening...plus there's that 10 year writers block..so I'm living vicariously through you guys. Y'all got this! :fistbump:
