What's Happening?

We are finally getting some rain here. Temperature is down right now but the humidity is not.

The contractor finished replacing the ceramic floor in the kitchen with new ceramic tiles. Which means I have spent the last two day getting grit off of everything. Yuck. The new floor looks great though. I do not do well with the house in chaos, so I am really glad it is over and everything is back where it belongs.

Maybe a payment center but probably not the actual elec co. the bank probably has early hours.

we shall see what paperwork i can get done, mom wanted to take me out to dinner. then i have to clean out my boiler room. maybe some olympics and a baseball game.

I just had the sweetest, older man on my porch. Emma loved him and he loved her. She would have gone with him and never looked back!

He was looking for a neighbor's house.


Some people just have the best energy. Dogs pick up on that.

 

I did errands this morning and picked up a chicken while I was out as I need some comfort food and I am going to make chicken and dumplings tonight. YUMMMMMM

I think I got some of the grit in my left eye as when I put my contact in my eye blew up. I picked up some eye drops when I was out so hopefully it goes away soon as I had to switch to my glasses which drive me nuts.

I pulled out the paint and filler and caulking and stain to fix up the bings from the floor being done and they are still sitting there in a nice little pile as I have decided not today because I just do not feel like it. Maybe tomorrow.

 

I think I'm going to the craft store for some beads and cord! Yay! I love doing that!

Shit. I forgot some important work papers. I have been late on them before with no problem so I am sure everything will be alright if it's done by Monday.

I went to the tobacco store, then hubby and Iate some yummy pizza at our favorite place. After that, he sat in the car while I spent a good while in the craft store; followed by both of us going in Walmart for some stuff.

It was all good except the Walmart wasn't one we're familiar with so we did too much walking and hubby got tired and irritable. I got tired too but I kept my cool.

Now, I'm home creating a necklace.
