Oh, I love me some Waffle House now!

 

Just had some seasoned pork chops and eggs a few days ago. And you're right, great biscuits and gravy!

i don't remember having a bad meal at waffle house. of course, i barely remember ever even being at waffle house, since as far as i know the only time anyone goes there is immediately after the bars close.

i do vaguely remember spending a significant amount of time lying next to their dumpster and vomiting one night. but that's not their fault; i hadn't even eaten yet.

 

I don't mind the rain. It's the clouds.

If it rained and the sun stayed out, I'd be happy.

 

Their grilled chicken is good, too.

 

Rainy days..uhhhff! I know we need em, just don't like em. Especially on the weekends.

 

I don't think there's anything there I don't like.

I've never had Waffle House. I eat out plenty though. Today I ate some edamame and several pieces of sushi at Kabuki; one of my favorite places.

 

The little dog that was stolen with the SUV last weekend is still missing. They've done tons of posting and looking. She's got the reward up to $2,500.

 

Our Waffle House is right next door to the Dollar General that keeps getting robbed.

Incidentally, I went in the DG tonight and there was an armed security guard. Yay!

 

You eat very light. Those soybeans are delicious but not very filling. What kind of sushi did you eat?

 

Man, that's a first. An armed guard at a DG. I've never seen that before.

 

I like waffles but, it's wayyyyyy easier to just make pancakes.

 

Reading through these posts makes me want to try Waffle House. I feel left out.

Hearing about WH always reminds me of that song:
“I want you smothered, want you covered, like my Waffle House hash browns”

Remember that one?

I got mackerel and salmon and crab and one other; I can't remember what kind for the life of me... lol. I knew I was having dinner with my family though, so I didn't order big. Usually I would eat more!

 

Ugh. Fish.

 

Yeah... WaHo hash browns...

 

Maybe the other was eel? I love sushi. I used to go to the sushi-go-rounds in Japan, and oh they were delicious!! There's one that's a few hours north from me, I gotta go check it out. My wife and daughter said its good.
