Best thing I've heard all night.

 

I'm going to buy a new car in the next few weeks and I'm excited, i've been too afraid to take a road trip the past 2 years because my car broke down in FL and I haven't trusted it since. So, ROAD TRIP! Soon.

I hope it snows tonight. I do not wish to go to work tomorrow.

I'm thinking a 2016 Toyota Corolla. Or maybe 2017 if I can find a good deal. But I'm noticing the used market is flooded with 2016s and so the price is really good on that year

I did borrow my brothers truck for a few weeks once and had fun with it

 

I was out in the woods with mine on the weekend. Had so much fun on the dirt, it was a bit slughy and snow and ice, but it was fun. Then loaded the tray with lots of wood I found. was about 5hrs of dirt driving, never had that much fun in my life driving lol. on the way down, I was turn right to go left style lol, one point i was pointed at the snow pole indicators, heading straight to it, steering right hoping she'd catch, then when it caught, gotta steer left for the next bend lol.

South Kora and China banning it. It's OK long term not going anywhere and when those laws are reversed it will climb just as fast. And they will be if those countries want to be economically competitive.

This is their first year in it and so far they haven't gotten to do any hands-on stuff.

Tonight, they are talking about, and dressed as, their future career choice.

There are alot of kids involved in this thing tonight, though! This is from their facebook page:

4-H will have our Annual Cloverleaf Project Achievement for the 5th graders. We have 218 fifth graders registered, 21 fabulous Teen Leaders, 64 wonderful adult volunteers and 9 staff members ready for another successful competition!! Thank you all for volunteering to make this a great experience for the children. It also takes the support of great parents and teachers. We look forward to a great evening and seeing the students present their speeches and performances!!

 

Results just in:

The one on your right, placed 2nd in the Marine Biologist category.

The other two didn't place but they conquered their fear of public speaking.

The one on your left wants to be a Zoologist.

The one in the middle wants to be a Veterinarian.

oh yeah. people have been calling me that for like 12 years, and i somehow completely forgot about it.

is wednesday the official pool league day? it's on wednesday here too. which annoys the hell out of me, because wednesday is also wing night at the bar we usually go to, so you end up waiting hours for wings while they serve the pool players, and you can't even play pool while you wait because all the tables are taken.

 

yeah, wednesday here at some venues like, the metal club i play for, all these metal heads will come in and get pissy they can't play.

Update: Yah it was probably just the throw out the back thing. I didn't go to a doctor but I've felt much better this week. If that was a glimpse of what it's like getting old, I don't want any part of it.

If I make it to 70, I'd probably be fine with sometime in that decade a shot of a couple hundred milligrams and a bathtub to drown in, or the ocean so no one got to mess with me.

 

My miss made this yummy meal while I was snowing walking at 1am. It's from the fresh food delivery, so all the ingredients are color coded and she just chopped the veges, pan friend the chicken, boiled the rice and I'm really proud of her. Yeah so it was elementary style cooking lol. But big step for her. For the avocado mix we didn't have white rice wine, so I used a touch of apple cider vinegar. That mixed in with olive oil made it really tangy and I quite liked the creation.

Teaching her how to cook this past year has been really fun. She has not much confidence and basically just my kitchen hand, but coming a long way. Next goal is to have her speaking Deutsch and I'll be very happy. So I don't get "what did she just say. What about him. What did he just say" lol.

Well he says.. Mind your own bees wax and stop listening into conversations.

No I'd never say that to her.

 

Yep, now I'm hungry.

I've got to cook the rice.
