What's Happening?

I can relate. I use to have mixed feeling of happiness and jealously when i saw a happy couple together.

Normally i don't give it much thought. I can be a victim of my own stories at times. So i try not to jump to conclusions. But even amongst the quietness there are subtle clues that stick out, both on and offline.

Hope you get through whatever it is you're going through.

 

I would be nervous too. The last time i went on a blind date the poor woman became instantly blind after looking at me.

So was everyone else.

What it boils down to is that the bridesmaid, who hosted the bachelorette party, got drunk and started being a bitch to my daughter. I tried to defend my daughter, because that big girl has beat my daughter up before, and then they both ended up mad at me.

In my eyes, there is now a big shit colored cloud hanging over the wedding. I'm angry. Other people are angry. We will all be thrown together again on Saturday at the wedding, and I'm still going to be angry.

Well if bygones cant be bygones than personal attacks will always be there.

It sounds like that one that beat up your daughter knows she is wrong, and wont admit to it, so its easy to keep defending an ego doing old ways.

It also sounds like your daughter has something she is using against you, that is old, and nothing to do with what is going on right now.

The wedding has not happened so don't be angry before you go. Kill em all with kindness. It will just expose things and everything will unravel itself.

She gets me involved in her shit and then when I say anything she calls me an instigator. She's referring back to several things over the years.

One year, she had me be DD for her birthday party. We went to an art place where you can take in your own alcohol and come out with a painting you did.

On the way home, a big argument broke out in the back seats of my van. They were almost throwing punches. I had to drive for about 20 minutes with this going on behind me.

Of course, I got involved.

 

I slammed on my breaks in the middle of town years ago in the winter. Got out of the truck, walked up to the lady behind me in the vehicle.

If i slam on my breaks and you mess up my vehicle its on you. Back off.

My brother is sitting in the truck. Trying not to laugh.

I don't want to reveal what makes me jealous, because i am trying not to give it too much thought anymore. I used to be better...well, I used to be really super jealous and paranoid when I was younger. Started to realize the truth about what we see from the outside. Still. Yea, the quietness. *sigh

Oh ok I know this wasn't to me, but oh my god, I have fallen victim to being common, with some, even though fully knowing of this phenomenon. But once someone sees you this way, it's really hard to come back from it. :/

It's dinnertime and in gonna go watch some cartoons.

 

I wrote a group message, apologizing for my part in any of the hard feelings from last night's party.

Everyone involved read it and not one of them gave any reply.


I don't care really but I don't know if I should make an appointment to have my hair done or if I still have one with the one who hosted the party last night.

God, please let this be over with soon...

And, I still get 3 or 4 teeth cut out of mouth on Tuesday.

 

My mother would have been 71 tomorrow. Instead she died when she was 31. I just can't imagine her as an old woman, she is larger than life in my memories.

I messaged my daughter and asked her if she'd cancelled my hair appt with the bridesmaid, like I asked her to last night.

This was her reply regarding that:

"I haven't talked to her. I messaged her earlier but she never responded. Ill let you know tomorrow if I hear from her or not. If not I will find someone to do ours."
