What's Happening?

What can't you get by being a vegetarian that you can get by eating meat?
A thick skin apparently.

 

They don't nornally survive winter here. I meant to try to repot them and bring them inside but never got around to it and was surprised to see they were still alive this spring. The past couple of winters have been weird. We do have mild winters here but usually get at least a couple of cold snaps with below freezing nights for a few weeks in a row, but we havent had that the last couple of years.

And the lack of a good cold snap makes summers absolutely disgusting. I've never seen mosquitos as bad as they've been this summer.

Yeah that sounds crazy annoying. I am already bothered by flies and other insects here when their numbers are at their peak.. (you will laugh about it probably. Its not that bad)

Um, I updated my topic on the American/Luxembourg survey, but I fear the topic is not misleading as the experiment is over. Well, do you think the title can be changed or should I make a new topic (meh, not really much to say really)...well, I suppose it will be easily figured out in time, but if there is a suggestion by one of the mods...on that topic, should I have written this question in the help section on this board?? Well, I figured this was sort of news or "What's Happening" with me, so I came here. lol

In other news, I'm preparing for a weekend wedding get-away. That means packing and planning and still trying to house clean. (yeah, original plan was to have houseguests and we'd drive every day to the event, but now they won't be coming, so my plans to clean house have been strained by this need to pack, which just makes me anxious. bleh!) Um, ...yeah, so just busy busy and trying not to stress and strain too much. Ohh, there's just so much I want to do in life and so much that I have to do and my priorities are off and I'm trying to not stress and be happy at the same time. lol It's a bit of a madhouse in my mind right now.

Its even more apparent in my beard hair: some very grey hairs contrasting with the black. I like it though, very bearable ...thinning head hair, less fun. But its far from bald so I'm not complaining (yet )

 

We've got to find a new officiant for my daughter's wedding. For some reason, the one that is a step brother to the other bride isn't coming. He was going to fly here from Cali.
