i'm not dissing your nephew, it sounds like he's doing the best he can with his current situation. i'm just saying there's still a good amount of downtime in there and not much to do with it, which is probably when the fantasy sports come into play. whereas a non-imprisoned person who also works should have better options for his free time.

I've had a few fantasies about the LPGA.

Wait, what are you talking about...?

I actually do not mind playing golf lol well it has been literal years butit was fun esepcially the half sized courses and I was actually good at putting.
I remember when I was maybe 16/17 and I was out with my family and uncles and were playing golf and one just said keep your head down after your stroke. and i nailed it. in fact i would go off to tea off better than anyone else for the day.
later they would sneak me into back holes to play for free.

the last competitive thing i played in golf was a pitch and putt vs another couple. i came back to beat him and though i just said it was fun and thank you, once out of sight i was punching the air and hell yeahs. i'm quite competitive. :D

I was making my bed one day when the ceiling fan was on full blast. Not realizing what I was doing I extended my arms to whip and expand the lower bed sheet across my mattress, and crashed my arms right into the fan blades. It hurt a lot, but no bleeding.

But that wasn't the worst part.

When I turned the fan back on. It started wobbling out of control. The blade that collided into my arm was bent out of alignment.

In order for a fan to spin efficiently, all blades must be equal. I fucked it all up.

It took me forever to find the model number so I could order new fan blades. But instead I bought a new one and tried to install it. It wouldn't seat itself firmly in my ceiling. It wobbled like hell. What I think might've happened was the socket holding it in place, behind the drywall in the ceiling got knocked loose.

Fucking hell this has been a headache trying to fix it. And I don't wanna spend money on an electrician.

I fear my ceiling fan too lol and it is turned on almost every night. lots of people say well what about winter??? what about winter?? :D hot air rises. I have also hit one but in the kitchen. we have 3 bedrooms with them and lounge and kitchen area. I hit the kitchen area.
Because we have a grey render on the house even in our hottest days mostly the air fans are enough. and in winter theres a setting to say "backwards" and the blades will circulate backwards blowing down the warm air trapped on the ceiling from the heater or in general. :)

i did this a couple of times too, because upstairs the ceilings are lower and naturally there are ceiling fans. :p

most times it don't hurt, nor have I really busted the fan, but once or twice, it did hurt. So yeah, no more yoga under the fan. :D lol

That's the great thing about ceiling fans.

They're good for all seasons, and save a lot of money on heating and AC bills.

    I'm sad mine is broken.

Should be a nut set inside the Junction box. maybe tighten them up.Fan can not be free with just the box in some drywall.. there would also be a tightener between the studs. it may have been drywall-ed over. but it should still be reachable.. kill the power. free the wires. see the nut inside the box on the sides.. best we can do with no pictures.

I always turn my fan off when I make my bed for that very reason. I have a love/hate relationship with fans. They provide an essential service, but I live in fear of them.

The Russia sleep experiment story freaks me out even if it is fake. Just the whole premise and while the events may have been fake I know some sadistic asshole would have tortured people by keeping them awake for days but contrary to what I did think, after some research, people have been awake for long periods over a week without dying.

I only get a few good hrs of rest a day. Some days 3 hrs and I'm buzzing and other 3hrs I am done.

He drank a half gallon of rum and did a bunch of meth, then he and his girlfriend argued and he strangled her to death.

That is horrible, that poor woman.

I always think that if someone takes a life, they don't deserve to get out ever.

    Dinner is in the oven.

Hubby was acting angry at me this afternoon but I don't know why. I'll see if it wears off tonight.

Some of my cats are sick with diarrhea. I hope it's not from letting two of the back porch kittens inside to mingle, but I bet it is.

How many cats do you actually have that live with you? That are "yours", in the common sense of the word.
