That always happens when it's hot out and there's no a/c.

 

Ive never seen an outage here last more than a few hours. a CME would only take out for a few hours as well. sadly got an acoustic guitar for nothing..

I bought a copy of "Mind Games" by John Lennon but the girl serving me put the wrong CD in the jewel case. So instead I got a CD of John doing acoustic versions if his best solo stuff. Serendipity I guess.

I'll spend the evening icing my knee and doing a little cleaning/piddling around the house as I can.

 

prison does seem like the kind of place where you might actually have nothing better to do than fantasy football...

 

I always sign up for fantasy football but it never lasts more than a few games. I was doing a soccer one once for a while and once I got the jist of it I started moving up considerably.
But you gotta remember to log in and that on it's own is a chore I wasn't wanting. Plus the bloody emails.

i have two main issues with fantasy football. 1) it can force you to root against your team, or for your enemy. and more importantly, 2) it turns you into one of those bros that spends every free minute watching sportscenter or flipping channels between 4 different games or checking your phone for score updates. nobody with an actual life has time for that shit, and those guys are super fucking annoying.

 

I diffused. Had a post about forgiveness in my feed today, will read that too, but yes, just I know better. Forgive for my own wellbeing. It'll be ok. Stuff is different, stuff is changing, but I'm learning to live with it, where ever it takes me. It's hard to think on some things, but I trust that I will get through. I always do.

Also, I'm starving right now so just waiting for rice and gonna serve me up something nice.

 

I like a good close game of football. To me a 13-10 is a good defensive game. That's a man game. Men, defending. But fantasy makes you want a 45-44 game with your team winning by 1 point but the other teams coring lots of points too.
That ain't a good game of football. That's just rubbish.

 

Ew does it really take up that much time?

It can yeah. If you don't want to really take it seriously, then yeah it's easy. If you want to succeed there's a lot of articles to read and stats to go through and at the end of the day they get injured and it ruins everything anyway.
And then they can't catch.
And then they throw INTs
And then then they can't tackle..

and then you just realise, fuck this shit, it's more enjoyable to just watch the game, or throw $10 down on bet365.

Oh well, it might be fun for one season at least.
