What's Happening?

I have a mask from pat catans craft store. .its on a wand.. some day I'll make use my trans gear again.

 

This mask is turning out really cute and cost $1.00

 

gf company send out emails about pgh pride. .imagine lgbt with your boss and superiors..got a surprise for them next yr, got to help my bitch with job security.

 

Putting a lot of thought into a simple but creative change while still being respectful to the recipient.

A task a quite enjoy.

 

I guess that I slept good for about 4 hours. WTF?

Hubby told me that we were going to leave the house at 9:30 this morning. Then he started acting like he didn't want to go to the doc and try to get worked in. No? You are sure are going to want your medicine, though. When he missed his appt. a week ago, they gave him one for the 31st. He told me he had enough to squeak by until the 27th. Ummmm....Bloody fucking hell! I'm going to have to live through that shit again? He is awful when he is in pain and in withdrawals. I hope the doc can see him today or at least move his appt. up sooner than the 31st.

So anyway, he told me that we'd leave at 1:00 this afternoon, instead of 9:30 this morning. Of course, he told me that after I'd taken my nighttime meds early and was ready to go to bed early.

Anyway, maybe I can catch a nap before we leave. We've got errands to run all afternoon.

 

Wow! When did it get to be 8:00 p.m.?

I'm happy that it is, but I am shocked.

We got all the errands done except no one was even in the office at hubby's doctor so that's a bitch.

I got all 12 cats, and the dog, treated with their flea treatments. Yay!

 

I am taking a mental health day from work tomorrow, perhaps heading to the beach. Went for a long run when I got home from work, cleaned the house, and took a short nap. Now I'm having a drink and just doing nothing for a while. Typically, I work 7 days a week, so this is such a sweet moment of peace .

 

Wow! So you basically never get a day off? Enjoy your R&R!

What do you do? Or the general type of work if you dont want to be too specific on here

 

I work two jobs seasonally, essentially. My career can be somewhat physically and mentally demanding and my side hustle is very physically demanding. So rest is nice. Really makes me appreciate the art of doing nothing for an entire 24 hour period. I don't mind sharing more detail over PM, but I don't like to get into too many details.

 

i've never understood how to do nothing.

but i do understand not doing something for someone else to make money off of.

i'm not someone who sees these as being quite the same thing,
or even anywhere near it.

 

Good for you... everyone needs a "mental health day" ... it's the perfect rejuvenation... especially since you work so hard... enjoy it!

My neighbors are weird. Like, almost all of them, not just one house, there's always something going on. Right now its the house behind me

The police were there last night for hours for a domestic disturbance, today I came home to find a note on my door that said "hi, I'm (insert name) at "insert address" and I'm sorry for the noise and the police, ps: I'm so sorry"

Which is funny because my partner and I are always commenting on how sweet and polite their children are to live in such a volatile home, but now I know where their manners come from lol

Then like 5 minutes after I read the note the guy comes over and very politely asks to borrow my phone. I hear him on the phone telling his friend that his wife left him and took his phone and bank card. Dude was having a rough day

Then like 5 minutes after he left I saw a missing kids poster pop up on facebook with his kids on the poster..Apparantly the mother of the mother of his children dropped the mother off at school this morning then took off with their kids. They found them later today in a neighboring state

I think the problem may have been the dirty Macdonald from late last night. =[ and I was so keen for it too because it had been two weeks since macdonalds.
