What's Happening?

Has anyone ever been to Mystic, Connecticut? That is where the wedding is that I'm going to... I have read all good things online and my parents went there once, from what they remember it was nice... just curious... thanks in advance

 

If you're into quaint, coastal New England towns, it's pretty nice. If you're more of the nightclubs and downtown kind of person, it might seem lame. It's not like the Jersey shore or somewhere like that.

I booked my flights to France for the 18th August. I'm going to my uncle's place. I put my Levi's cut off Denims in to be repaired. They've got two patches on - a Dio "Holy Diver" and a Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here". They're to match with my new Husker Du "Candy Apple Grey" T-shirt which arrived this morning.

 

That's awesome man... do you know what part of France? This your first time going? I've left the country a few times but never to France... is this your first time going?

 

Well I should tell you I live in London UK, so it's not as awesome as flying from the States. So yes I must have been to France ten times or more. I'm actually going near Toulouse.

 

No, I have not been there, but I heard it was near the ocean? If so, lucky you! I love the ocean......

A friend is on her way over today...i have not seen her in a few weeks. She lives in Saugerties, so she cannot just walk over, but it will be so good to see her today..and her job is klller hours all of the time...but today she is off.She will just hang out while I have to exercise dogs...and then we will talk for hours...or I will listen to her talk for hours ,...as I always do...

 

That seems like it will be awesome fun!

 

My new desk chair arrived and I put it together. It's so much more comfortable than the old one hubby brought from his old job. That one leaned at an angle so that your head would look at the top of the wall. This one keeps me up straight with lots of back support. Now, hopefully, my shoulders won't be in spasms all the time.

 

Thank you... I might have to sneak in a swim before I return home if it's ocean/beach territory... enjoy the time with your friend... sounds like a good time... always nice to have someone you can laugh with

 

We're having a violent thunderstorm. Hailstones, lightning, everything.

 

This isn't extended family and or friendships for me here too.
If I've got a question or something I'll ask here usually before anywhere else. Or see what some reactions are here plus the fellas have advised me with things all the time which has helped.

 

My desk chair is a racing car chair bucket seat. i want to get one them simulator setups but you pay for the seat and I already have one. So might make my own one day.

 

Let me be clear. I never laugh at things people say, unless they are funny, and I never laugh AT anyone......... she is like my mom in some ways.She will talk on and on about some things when I become glassy eyed but AT LEAST,, she stops to listen, if I say anything.......when my mom was talking on and on and when ,and when I tried to say something in between....my mom would say "DoN'T
INTERRUPT!!!!!!! You will have your turn when I am done...!"".. a million times repeating what she had said all of my life...;..my mom would say things 24 hours later after repeating the same thing over and over for years ......for 2 days straight sometimes ......." (silence break)...i would be "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ-snore...oh, what were you saying ...where was I glassy eyed and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. What were you saying where was I in nowhere land, that is where..."

I realize my friend has alot on her chest having a mother that hung herself when she was a little girl...a dad who was a cop who pulled a gun on her for nothing, when she was little.........Her dad i s now dead , too.......but at LEAST, she hears me...if I try to say anything....!

She is late.....I don't blame her... She had a lot to take care of..........first,.......but she will be here after I jog. she is a good soul...model...... mateial, and everyone thinks she is one....she is beautiful!...........I love her a lot. I have 3 good friends in life . She is one of them.
Anyway, Jill will meet me at the park now while I am there.

I need to go to be earlier tonight. I'm going to run some errands with hubby tomorrow. He forgot his doctors appt. last week and hopes they will work him in tomorrow. They are only in this office once a week.
