What's Happening?

It's been a quiet day. I have to go walmart soon.

 

Yay!!!

 

I think that the last time Piper was here she taught Emma to be afraid of thunder.

There have been only a few minor rumbles and Emma is panting like a choo-choo.

 

Nothing happening really, but I'm preparing for great works!

I'm a little worried about Peter, he's not answering his phone. He now has sciatica too. I hope he isn't having a bad delayed reaction to the fire.

He's supposed to come and fit the bulb in the projector. And then we were planning to go and see the Giacometti exhibition. I hope he hasn't done some kind of fatal disappearing act.

We have a decorator in the house painting the bedrooms. A bit of an upheaval but it will be nice when it's done.

 

I hope you've heard from him by now!

 

It sounds like my hick neighbors are shooting off a damn cannon.

 

Mine started up again, with the fireworks, shortly after dark. it didn't last long.

The assholes.

They're out there shooting them in front of my house again.

I bet it I take my shotgun and shoot it up over the back of the house, into the woods, they'll fucking stop.

 

thankfully ive not needed to do that approach.. id a few half sticks, Id not need to use . the rez been good so much, so far...

 

I went outside and saw them throwing them into the woods and into my neighbors side yard. That poor guy works his ass off and is nearly 70 years old. He goes to bed with the chickens and they woke him up. I saw his lights on.

I took the high road and just walked into the street light so they could see me and yelled that it was almost midnight and it was time to quit. Dead silence, then the guy the owns the house yelled back "Okay". I heard a bunch of females squawking as I walked back to my house - typical.

The home owner knows I'm head of neighborhood watch and friends with his mom, who used to work for the police station. He will behave even if his wife makes fun of him for it, lol

 

at first I wasn't to keen on living in an area with a Home Owners Association and all it's fucking rules..
BUT
I don't have to put up with assholes lighting fireworks at midnight and the neighborhood does look fucking nice with nice amenities, so my opinion is changing.

 

We don't have a HOA; we just have neighborhood crime watch. Three of us went to the meeting and I got nominated to head it with their help. One of them moved away and the other one died.

 

LOL, almost like when they ask for a volunteer and everyone takes a step backward but you...LOL

but you do look like you could be a real formidable bitch if provoked, so I would put my fireworks away also...LOL

My dumb ass daughter got arrested on public transit tonight. She said they held her about 35 minutes and then let her go. She says, in a private facebook message to me, "Apparently, you can't drink on MARTA".

Well, duh.


That's right girls. You can't drive golf carts drunk and you can't drink on the fucking MARTA train.


Damn it. Grow up.

 

Well, luckily, my daughter, and future daughter-in-law, didn't get any fines or anything for drinking on the train last night. They just can't use MARTA for 30 days. That's a big relief to me.


Then, I got some news as soon as I woke up, that fucked me up emotionally.

If you all don't know, my husband and I have an open marriage. I got news about something my former lover, a guy I've had a romantic relationship with since 2006, is doing. It's very complicated, as you can imagine, with all those years involved. The Reader's Digest version is that he and his wife, who my husband had a relationship with, are getting a divorce.

The "past me" is very upset that their divorce seems sudden. It seems to have come about because of a new relationship, of just a few months, that I think he's involved in. He is moving in with another couple and all indicators, that I see, show that he is in a relationship with that wife, with her husband's knowledge.

The "past me", and part of the "present me", feels that all the love I've put into that man was a waste. He and I, my husband and his wife, years ago, discussed divorcing to be with the other partner but no one ever did "because of their children".

(Why am I telling you all this?)

I have no where else to vent.

Granted, almost ten years have passed since that part of the relationship(s) but I still have a very strong emotional attachment even though we haven't spent much time together in recent years. Actually, I "broke up" with him in the Fall of 2009 so that he could devote himself to his wife and children.

The last time I slept with him was a year and a half ago.

Part of me still loves him with all of my heart even though I don't know if I could stand to be in a relationship with him now. He's changed some and so have I; however, that doesn't take away the strong, strong love of many years.

*Sigh*

I've already thrown my crying bitch fit about it but I don't think that's out of my system yet. So, I'm going to be all over the place with my emotions today - warring with my heart and my head to digest this news.

Just read that there is a tree that smells like semen. I have seen or been around semen for over 25 years and still don't know what it smells like.
I mean every time there is semen there are other stronger smells. Like hand lotion or vaginal excretion and sweat or whatever my bathroom smells like that day.

 

Yes.

I was around one of those trees once. It is insane.

 

Bradford pear. They're all over the place here, and for a week or two when they're in bloom you really do get strong whiffs of semen everywhere you go. Although to me they have a fishy smell

 

There's another one...I'd have to Google it.
