What's Happening?

Um...

 

I have to buy groceries today.

I don't look forward to that. I don't know why.

 

is it going to the store....deciding what to buy....spending money....disappointing those you are buying for besides yourself?

 

It's... Let me think some more about this.

 

This is a thought challenge for sure!

I don't mind going across town, to Walmart, going in picking up the pet foods and cat litter, then leaving.

The grocery store is different...hmmm.

 

I hate it too. For one, grocery stores are completely illogical in their organization so I find myself criss crossing the store a few times to get everything I need. And i'm not a list person so I try to keep e erything I need in my head which stresses me out and I almost always forget something. And there's always that one person who parks their cart in the middle of the aisle and pretends not to notice you when you try to get around them. Then there's the whole ordeal of carrying the groceries inside the house, always in one trip even if you have a hundred bags, and puttingeverything away.the whole process is a pain in the ass. I dread it.

 

I make a list and I know the store's layout so that's not the problem...

Still thinking.

 

My usual store changed their layout a couple years ago and I still don't know where everything is. I usually shop around 6 in the morning so most people aren't there yet. It is especially difficult if I am looking for something I rarely buy. It is never where it would logically be.

I procrastinated picking up a couple medications today but will have to get them tomorrow because I am taking my last day of one tonight. I just did not feel like going out at all.

Now I am waiting on the maintenance man to come install a new garbage disposal. I would rather not have one at all. They rarely last more than a few years. Supposedly he will be here in 15 minutes. I will probably be waiting for another couple hours. I am just too tired today for anything.

 

I'm tired too.

I'm seriously considering taking an evening nap when the kitten is done eating.

 

So, they delayed the storm until overnight/early morning...

Taking a day of rest from mountain hiking. Exerting yourself above 5000 feet can really suck the energy out of you fast.

I hate when the anchor blames the weather man for bad weather. Unless they are really wizards that can control the weather. Haven't seen that yet though.

I've got the oven heating up the kitchen. I made a cheeseburger tater tot casserole and I'm going to put a meatloaf in when that comes out.

 

Should have cooked that earlier... on the sidewalk.
