I've got dinner started in the crock pot.

I'll gather some hand-sewing I need to do and take it next door so I can do it and be around my granddaughters.

They will probably want to play in the hose again and that will be good because I need to get some sun before I go to the beach. I don't like being in the sun unless there's water! It's so much better than when we all have to broil at the softball games. I don't know how those kids play in those uniforms and extreme heat.

My grandson's other grandmother took off work to be with him today, and his other grandfather will do the same tomorrow; so, it's just the girls for the rest of the week.

 

Above 25C here! Delicious! Could work in just my t shirt from 8 am (no worries, I also wore pants)

yeah, I prefer sun with water too, or I'll only be out for a little while...actually, come to think of it, if I get too hot and then watered (ahh yes, I grow like the trees! lol j/k) well, yeah that is just awful too!! ((thermal shock)) :/

hope you enjoy your sewing and time with the children. I really need to get to some knitting...hell, I really need to work on sewing skill too, but not for summer...maybe will get to some later today, but first. I need some exercise...it's just so hard to get motivated right now. :/

The spaghetti is finishing - I just put in the noodles. I also added some diced up spinach, fresh from our garden.

I played in the hose with the girls. The sun was really nice and hot.

I took two swimsuit tops to alter and completed one. I'll do the other tomorrow.

It's raining off and on, now. There are thunderstorms around.

Hubby is napping.

I got a few minutes of sun. Now I am starting a new knit. gonna be a sweater for my nephew. Still no exercize, but this seems to be the peace i needed :daisy:?

also, i heard spagetti. now i'm craving that!! i oughta cook soon, or well rice anyway. food is done from yesterday. had spinach in ours too

 

Yeah, sometimes I find that I need to DO something to break up the thinking too much.

I'm excited!

I just found a dress for my oldest granddaughter to wear in my daughter's wedding. The auction ends in 30 minutes. No one has bid yet so the dress is still at $17.99! It matches the style of the triplets' dresses very well!

 

I have not talked pool in 1.5 days. had a break from it all after playing well and well I'll be right back down the pub when it opens this morning to play with the pub fellas.

Well I realise I have the responsibility to keep my game up to standard with new knowledge I accumulate, but I think having a day off can help wonders too.
