Today is going to be back up there, temp-wise.

The grandson is back from his trip to LA with his other grandpa and is spending the day with us and the girls.

 

It's hot.

I had to get an ultrasound on a breast lump today. I was hoping it would be an obvious benign cyst and that would be the end of it, but nope there's some dense, hard tissue they're concerned about and I have to go back for a biopsy.

Every healthcare provider i've come into contact with during this keeps telling me breast cancer is practically unheard of at my age but i'm still terrified

When is your biopsy?

 

Not until July 8th. I'll be at the beach next week and they were very emphatic that this isnt a big deal, nthere isnt a real sense of urgency. They didnt want to do it this week because I have to stay out of public water for 10 days after the biopsy. It worries me a little to wait 2 and a half weeks longer though because I put off getting it checked out for so long, i found it almost 2 months ago. I'm kinda kicking myself for waiting so long.

 

This also makes me think of Trish, American Terrorist and I cant remember her new user name. She is around my age and the last time she popped in she said she had stage 3 breast cancer. I really hope she is doing okay.

 

last night i ran in my room, all the lights were off but i was just gonna grab my phone off my desk. i step in the room and i feel something soft under my foot. then it scratched me and i realized my cat was sleeping on the floor where i couldnt see her. she ran off and i have not seen her since. i am just sitting here wondering if i caused some internal injuries on her and she is hiding somewhere dying. calling her is doing no good and looking in her hiding places is doing no good.

 

I just ate a banana, and now I have to go pick up some clothes I bought from a Facebook Bidding Site. Does anyone else ever have any luck with Facebook Bidding Sites?

This afternoon it's gym to lift heavy, and then more editing.

Hopefully a skate later tonight, if it doesn't rain.

 

Can you shake her food?

I am sure she is fine, cats are quite resilient. You probably just frightened her.

Go to the pet store and get some fancy cat treats for her so she knows you're sorry. That is what I'd do. She'll come out eventually.

 

If the docs say it's not urgent, trust them. Forget about it and enjoy your vacation.

yeah saw her late last night, she wanted to get in the house....no idea how she got out. she used to get out through the crawlspace but i covered it up on the outside, must have found a different way.

 

I'm glad she showed up!
