I went to the grocery store, and I rescued the fallen kitten in the back.

We will have a Taco Tuesday dinner.

My company bought another biplane today! Now we have three. Just in time for the summer season which is usually busy.

We offer Texas Hill Country pleasure and recreational flights. Also sunset rides. Lake buzzes. And even aeronautical flights. We also have two helicopters. And with those we do business transport and corporate flights as well. The biplane is a vintage WWI era Curtiss JN-4. Known fondly as a Jenny. Fully restored. I won't even tell what we paid for it, but suffice it to say it was more than my house!

I sure hope we have a good summer!

    Cheers.

I put a big load of wash in.

I'll take a shower when the clothes head to the dryer.

I'll be vegging out on some Hulu.

The triplets tried on their flower girl dresses. Perfect. I'm happy with that because I ordered them through Amazon and they were delivered from China.

The Devil is pissed because he burned his fish sticks for the second night in a row. He's already yelled at me 3 times.

I got all the indoor cats and the dog treated with Advantage.

I wish that stuff lasted 30 days like it's supposed to.

Tuesday begins Summer days with all the grandkids out of school. The triplets are skipping their last day of school tomorrow. They will go to the older girl's award ceremony and "walk over" from the middle school to the high school.

    Exciting times.

    ^hmm!

Makes sense! I actually take a lot of stuff to reduce inflammation in the body (heat), but it's my hands and feet that seem to need the escaping! Yes, they can turn all red and hot when I'm having a "flare-up". It can be really painful when not under control. Thankfully, it's been pretty well managed these days.

    ---------------------
I guess I've been a bit slow to get on here lately. I think it's gonna be that for the rest of the summer now. Lots of stuff going on, but more just planning. Gah! I can't believe it's already almost June! This is kinda good though. And kinda bad. idk. I've been waiting for some news on something and I'm afraid it might not be what I want...but then it might too, and well I'm actually anxious about that too! Well, the point is, I figured the news would come in June or July. Ugh! One reason for the inflammation is my ?anxiety? or just getting worked up about things not going my way, so best I don't think about this until I need to. There have been other good things surrounding the bad, so I really should stop bitching...it's just...ok, nevermind. :)

but so this weekend is exciting!! Will get to see my sis and nephew again, if all goes to plan, for the Memorial Day weekend. I always welcome baby time! :D

And well that's all the time I have! Ciao! :D

It is reported that she came back and asked him to take down flags inside the museum also.

There are many twisty corners in this story...

The farm and battlefield was sold to the county 8 years ago instead of letting imminent domain take it, I think.

I'm still trying to see into all the dark corners of the story.

Now the commissioner says the word "Battlefield" in the name of the property must go - that it is to be named a "Park".

I looked into the things she said and found that she said it was not a "documented" battlefield.

There definitely was an encampment there with 30,000 artifacts found.

The Civil War Trust says that the largest cavalry saber charge of the war occurred there.

I found that it is not on the National Register of Historic Places.

If it fits the claimed criteria then an application needs to be made by the state Historic Preservation Officer.

If it doesn't fit the criteria for some reason...like the claims of the battle are incorrect and maybe made for some reason other than fact, then that may be why the decision was made to close the museum so quickly when the councilwoman started prodding.

    It'll be interesting to watch.

    Edit:

However, I've just come upon the resolution from 2014 where the county commissioners approved the historical monument being put up.

    I don't know....twisted, like I said.
