What's Happening?

Well, some have a flight at the brewery, then stop by a restaurant a block away until they are good to drive.
Those people worry about stuff too though. Like getting back home in time to see the hockey game.
They also get annoyed like people with kids.
Like some have asshole coworkers they have to deal with for 10 hours a day before they can be alone and away from the assholes.

 

On Fridays we watch Midsomer Murders.



Also, wow...what do you know...mudding is a real thing.

I watched the first lotr movie the other day. On vhs. I think I'm getting old.


I am going to take a long bike ride tomorrow and stop at a couple of breweries along the way. That isnt too geriatric. Theres a youthful hipster inside of me waiting to fly free.

No more babies for me but making them is fun

 

Local music festival this weekend. I'm looking forward to it.

I just learned today there's gonna be a huge one out in the desert about a few hours east of me that will happen during the solar eclipse this August.

I've seen a few episodes of that tv show where they build tiny houses for people, usually for young couples.
I wonder if people actually keep living in them.

I have a coworker who just bought a tiny home, but its just her. I think I could live in one alone but would hate sharing such a small space with someone

We went and watched the triplets play a couple of games today. It was sunny and hot; but, we got out of there just before a heavy rain.

Now, I'm home with a very nauseated and sweating husband. He had plenty of sugar today but more caffeine than he's used to. I've decided to start treating him for low blood sugar. I think he's improving as he drinks the cola I gave him.

Other than that nothing is going on except swelling and pain in my thumb. I picked up a kitten that I thought was sick because it was lying in the driveway by itself. It looked to be weak but maybe it was just sleepy. Anyway, when I picked it up, it came to life and starting biting me and screaming louder than any cat I've ever heard. It sunk it's teeth, as deep as they would go, into both sides of the tissue at the thumb joint about 10 or 12 times. I was trying to get it back to the food bowl area but I had to put it down about halfway into that trip!

 

All my friends with kids within 5mins of being around just reminds me why I don't want them.

I'm totally in this life just for me. Unless things change, I only got one shot at life and all I want to do is have fun. Children seem to encumbering to that lifestyle of mine. :unsure:

The last one I witnessed was back on May 10, 1994 It was cool, we were under the path of totality and it briefly went from day to night
