My Mother's Day was very nice. I got spend some time with my grandson, daughter, future daughter in law, and her folks.


I felt so sorry for my daughter. She was a physical wreck from having cried all night because her dad is not coming to her wedding and he wouldn't even return her call to tell her so; he had her brother tell her the news.

There was a little damper on the day because of that.

I hope everyone else had a nice day.

 

Don't send him any photos or any feedback or anything. I would no longer include him in my life.

 

Despite the miserable cold damp rainy conditions we had a nice Mother’s day.
Brought her some flowers and the whole family had a nice dinner together.

How did those strawberry cookies turn out?

Never tried those.
I hope it's real strawberries, and not aroma or coloring or whatnot.

 

I've never tried them either.

I didn't make them because when I asked my daughter she told me that her future mother-in-law was going to serve
Strawberry Shortcake.

 

I have to push me starting school back to september instead of july.

I want to go and get it started but too much shit is going on.

We had a damn gang initiation fight in our living room last week. The whole house except me and one other guy were kicked out.

My little brother is in jail and im working on getting him transferred here as he is in a different state. Upon release we are getting him out of there.

The GF needs a surgery.

I walked off my job, something ive only done one other time in my life.

Too much shit going on for me to just leave.

Gotta take care and help everyone first.

 

I understand you wanting to be there for your gf's surgery. That other stuff my be like some of the things that continue to come up in front of you all through life. Sometimes there are legitimate reasons to put your plans on hold. Beware and learn the difference of what's important to say "yes" to and what to say "no" to.

 

I notched up my 10th win on the iRacing

Some people I look at their stats, they've been racing for 7+ years and have hundred of starts and 5 wins, I've won 10 times in 48 starts.

I'm using the mid 90s Jeff Gordon DuPont scheme for my K&N Pro National Series ride. We are numbered as we register for the race so I was the 3rd to register. I think in other races and leagues when I qualify for them, then there's proper numbers etc. although I just assume someone else would take the #24 anyway. Actually this screenshot was taken after my 9th win 3hrs earlier.

 

I got to touch some baby Sparrows today.

It's hard to explain how they were in the triplets bathroom window; but they were so that when the girls opened the window the back of the nest was laying in the window sill.

The girls couldn't close the window back because they'd smoosh the baby birds.

I had them get me some dried leaves out of the yard and I poked the little butt's of the birds back into the nest and held them in place with the leaves while I slid the window shut.

I hope their mom doesn't mind that I touched them.

If you ever seen the epi Andy Griffith when Opie kills a momma bird with slingshot. Barney Fife says cant touch the baby birds because of man smell.

 

I might be at Bathurst in October.

If my Australian friends can secure campgrounds then I said I'd be interested in the race weekend. I'm not sure when they can get campgrounds or if they can yet but it's on the cards for now. and that should work in well enough with our Seinfeld tour too unless I come back home for a month which I might have to because I don't want to leave the boy all along for 6 weeks. Or I could take him to Australia with us but I don't want him in quarantine for weeks there and weeks back home either.

Things to ponder.

I get excited about overseas travel for the pilgrimages to car races.
