I'll go out after I finish cooking dinner.

Yep, I went to the grocery store again. It's not my favorite thing but today was okay because I went by myself.

 

Dinner is slowly cooking, I walked the dog, through away some junk, and cut windows in the cardboard cat condo because it's warmer now and they quit using it.

Fence With Ease.......Who Needs A German Shepard When A Ginger Cat Will Do The Same Job

And Is So Much Cheaper To Feed.......Just Don't Mention The Vet Bills...... :bigcry:

Irritating dry eyes now and seems to be daily. Visine drops won't fix. Gonna try some herbal remedies if I can find some.

 

I never really won anything in athletics but I always made the relay team I never got that lol. I remember one year I came 2nd in think it may have been 200m sprint. When they handed out the ribbons in the assembly weeks later I never got one. I was really bummed because I'd never gotten a athletics award and I finally achieved one and I never got a ribbon. They say after that if you think you should get one but name wasn't called then have to see the sports teacher. I didn't do it but.

lol I'm nearly 30 years old and I'm still salty over that ribbon.

Imagine if I was awarded that ribbon in school assembly. Why, I maybe have been a astronaut or something. A astrophysicists even.

 

Eh, I got lots of blue ribbons for foot races in elementary school, I was fast as lightening! But it had no bearing on my future success lol, unfortunately I'm not an astrophysicist. I didnt even run track in high school. All those blue ribbons and I'm still a text book underachiever

 

One of the triplets was the fastest in her whole grade. It's serving her currently with the softball.

Also, the eye doctor can prescribe drops for dry eyes.

 

almond milk rinse your eyes.. or
place avocado, or cucumber, or banana skin on your eye for 20mins..

or put some honey on it and rinse with warm water..

Do you still have the ribbons?

Our school tropheys are in the folks cabinet in their home.

I've got my last years pool runner up and our dogs 8th and 10th place show banners. he only came 8th & 10th because he was so much younger than the rest of the class. He'd have won the judge told us, had he been more "mature" in the class. Made me wonder well why was he in that class if he was too young.

We're at the mercy of the weather for weekend plans.

My grandson is supposed to play baseball starting at 8:30 a.m.; however, it's supposed to rain alot over night and some tomorrow. We don't know if the games will be cancelled or just delayed to later that day, or even the next day (Mother's Day).

That will determine whether we get to see him play, and also if we go to my future-daughter-in-law's parent's house for Mother's Day.

 

I started remodeling the cardboard cat condo and I really wish I hadn't. I can't finish it tonight.

You know how you get a sudden burst of energy late in the evening? Yeah, it didn't last more than about an hour.

do I win something?? I feel like I beat a milestone tonight. It's probably very lame. I'm not one for speed sprinting or anything. Just running on the treadmill, jogging really. The thing is so rough though. The one at therapy was much more comfortable, so I wonder if I could do more if I had a "softer" treadmill. Anyway, I ran (jogged) a quarter mile in 5 minutes. Nothing to brag about in regards to speed, but my goal was just to run for a quarter mile without slowing down (walking). The last time I attempted a run or jog, I only went for like a 1.5 minute interval, so yeah,-milestone.
