What's Happening?

Just ordered 2 pieces of brass for new pommels on the short sword set. Brass prices are through the roof, even though the price dropped about $5 today.

 

In the middle of cooking dinner, the neighbor told me that one of the feral cats was laying on the side of his house and couldn't move.

I had to take her to be put down.

Now, I'm home again trying to decompress so I can eat dinner.

 

Planted some more ajuga out front and went into the woods to dig some mosses to plant in the mediation garden.

I had to turn off my rice in the middle of cooking it and come back a few hours later. It was a little undone so I added some water and cooked it some more. It's alright but the texture is way off now.

Ajuga is also known as Bugleweed...

 

I've seen that but I didn't know either name.

 

What sorts of properties does ajuga have?

 

It looks good enough to eat...

 

It stops bleeding and is a mild antiseptic. It's wild form is also called "Carpenter's Weed"

Hubby wants me to ride with him to the doctor in the morning so we can go by Home Depot on the way home and burn through the gift card my son gave me.

I'm not so sure I'll want to get up in the morning...eh, I'll play that by ear.

Well... at least I don't cover my head while sleeping. So I've got that much going for me....



Oh and I don't eat sugar. (damned brain damage, I forget stuff like that all the time)

 

My husband, and his sister, cover their heads or they cannot sleep.

I don't understand that.
