What's Happening?

Watching the Tigers-Red Sox game while having a beer. I said I wouldn't because of my diet but I will just run more on the treadmill and skip snacks today.

 

I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up flowers to make 3 cemetery arrangements.

We also went to Home Depot and picked up 6 bags of the cow manure mix. Met an incredible man, another customer, who loaded the car for hubby. He offered to give us, and deliver, some more frames for raised beds. He also said he'd bring us one of his Abe Lincoln tomato plants. I love meeting awesome people!

 

Do you have any low carb beer to buy? It really does work. once you find the right taste... that's all I drink now. Low carb if it's available. You don't feel guilty and can be up to sometimes 3 low carb beers = 1 normal beer.

 

Out in the woods today I saw the first Ruby Throated Hummingbird of the season...got to get my feeders hung.

 

i need some feedback on this. there aren't any really good jokes/cartoons that I could easily find for failed attempts at doing the squats EXERCISE!! (which I was trying to do today in my attempt to get off my ass and better my health again)...
so, sadly, this is the best example of what I was trying to say...it's really disgusting, I mean...not. I know of this thing, that it's real...but this is really graphic!! albeit, hilarious?? I thought it was. Anyone?? I'm really not in a mood to get into trouble, but I thought it was hilarious!

I understand now why it was so crazed and ran like it did right after our blizzard in front of our car...The small entry to underneath the shed was blocked by tons of snow....the cat was out in the freezing cold all of that time...

 

I can't stand to think of that poor cat freezing and hungry. I get really sad when I think about animals suffering.

 

Me, too...all of them...and even though, I heard the cat was spotted yesterday and seems to be doing ok.....my heart is still broken thinking about that time when I saw a crazed animal running for its life and not knowing what it was until now, and putting the pieces together finally that make sense now..

 

I'm glad to hear that cat is doing okay. But I know what you mean. You just want to give it a loving environment to be happy. I always said that if I came into a lot of money, I'd start a animal rescue. And a black cat shelter. You'd be amazed how many people still are afraid of black cats. They're always the last to find homes.

 

a few the cats in the hood are missing.. I know the tiger looking one Ive not seen it in a while. orange is still around, but was hobbling the other day. I give them a chicken carcass .. I dont like seeing 10 cats, but one or two is nice .. keeps the skunks and mice controlled .. long keep them full on some scraps they dont bother the bunnies and squirrels.

 

My black cat, Mewey, is buried in the back near that shed. Stan thinks it is Mewey come back....Mew was with me for 15 years, and she was a magnificent animal....
Yeah, I would love for that cat to come inside here where it is warm and safe with lots of food, and love and warmth and safety for it. It breaks my heart to know it is out there all alone....but if it is completely feral.....then there is probably no way, it will come even close....

 

Yeah , you're right. If it's feral, there is not much you can do. Except try to gain it's trust. Hopefully it will realize that you care about it and come closer.

 

That sucks that some are missing. You just always wonder where they are and what happened to them. I used to feed a whole community of stray cats. But the city cut down their little habitat. I don't see them any more. I hope they all made it safe.

 

blacky and tiger cat are missing. havent seen them in weeks.. orange is an adult. much older than the other two, its been around a while.. but it was hobbling the other day.. i think its better now..

I'm really sorry folks. Ok, here's a fact about me- I love cats! oh but I can't do this (talk about them) tonight!
