ok, ok ok...i look crazy...or maybe I just feel crazy. It's from this video! And now I'm glad to have read an alternative perspective on this. The first was from the perspective of a "victim", the second, from someone who shares my views...that innocent folks are made to look like criminals because some folks don't want to accept their roles in a relationship. Ok ok, it's a fine line, and I don't want to debate....I mean, all I am saying and will say, is that I can see how this might be an enlightening video...but it also encourages shame when there shouldn't be a need for shame. Curious what folks think. I'd have made a new thread, but I'm terrible at titles. Suggestions are welcome

Yep, I agree with all of that and to put is simply, if someone does not make you feel happy about yourself enough to be alive or awake even....RED FLAG!

They are so good at chipping away at everything about a person........and they are also good at when you protest...oh, you are the paranoid one or something...they are masters.

 

but then once again, the Humane society again sends me a news letter about slaughtering seals...with a photo this time...of just what I described on the sadness thread the other day.....a seal looking up from its helpless position with huge puppy dog sad eyes...at gloved hands held over him with a big slaughter thing tool.....I have been sad again ever since seeing that photo...and cannot understand anyone who is soulless enough to do that for profit...let alone just hunting because you are starving and need to eat like in the animal kingdom...Animals do not go around just slaughtering tons......so humans are far worse in that regard........Something like that makes me lose hope and faith in people all over again as a whole......and for reasons such as that, I do not like people as a whole. You cannot make them care or feel anything for anything else if they don't. It is an exercise in futility.

 

Finally, the tornado watches are expiring.

What a tiring day.

 

Well according to the movies if you actively try and chase the tornados they go away. lol. Except category 5s

I'm melting away in a hot bath it should exhaust me a lot. Then some weed. Then some quality lounge time and Tv.

Productive week so far just, just I need more sleep.

 

zzzzz think i got stuck to the screen. this is really bad. wish the weather would clear up so i could get outside! oh well, slinking to sleep here in a bit, soon as i get unglued ^^

It's a sunny, cool, windy day here. I'll take it but the dogs don't like it. They wanted to come back in immediately after they pottied. I made them stay out about 15 minutes more. I really hate them being cooped up in the kennels so much.

hehe No, I know because I handwash lots of things and well, I wash my dreads-though they aren't really ever dirty enough to be gross (well, once when i went longer between deep cleans), but I HAVE seen my share of filthy dread water baths to know that can't be pretty.

I've heard of crocheting plastic bags...think maybe it's time I start sharing my knit stuff. Aeri, do you and folks just talk about it here or does anyone use the arts and fashion section anymore. Hehe, I hope this isn't weird, but I remember you from there with your rice bag whatchamacallits. I kinda got depressed when the dreads section died here...even more depressing thinking aboutit now sooo....so i have kindof been avoiding that +whole fashion/arts section. But I have been knitting again lately. Keeps me somewhat in reality.

 

I wish I had dreads. I have to grow my hair back. I used to have nice long hair. Wish I hadn't have cut it. But when it gets long again, I'm definitely dreading it. But I have to eat raw food diet for that. Otherwise my hair gets too oily for dreads.

 

I was actually thinking about you yesterday while glued to the weather channel. Glad you made it through ok

Thanks. We only had to take cover once and it passed over us with just heavy rain and lightening.

 

My hair is kinda oily too, but no way in hell am I going raw! Lol I used tightening sprays and rub it till it knots up again. Ha! I'm mad! But it is finally doing something...slowly but surely.

Maybe I'll try the tightening spray. I'll keep that in mind. But I like eating raw. I feel sooo good when I do. Endless energy, and my hair doesn't get oily. lol

 

Aeri, I feel I should explain. Not that the section alone is depressing. It's depressing because it seems everywhere I go things are either dead or dying, and that's not good for anyone's self esteem, especially me lately....I know this isn't my fault, well not usually. I can't let one bad experience destroy me anymore, but...yeah, that's why. But I'll get some pics soon. k? alright. tty'all laterz!
