What's Happening?

Spoke to my friend today, she can't eat now, so they are using the peg! She is so thin!

I took her some ice cream yesterday, she was eating it all night as she couldn't sleep, she didn't say, but probably the pain!
She had the best mother's day ever! Picture of her with her mum and children was lovely!

I've eaten really bad today, just know I'm going to pay for it!

She has cancer! We have been friends just over 40 years!
They don't think her treatment is going too work, too late, but they are trying! But it's making her too Ill, and it's too much for her.

Another day in this gorgeous Spring weather.

I'm going to cook up a little spaghetti tonight.

I want to get some more stuff done but I've drugged myself with sinus meds because of the lingering ear problems and the pollen.

I don't know what I'll really spend the rest of the evening doing.

 

One of my neighbors dropped by while I was cooking. She blows the horn and sits in the car. She's an older lady and doesn't know if my dog is mean.

I was cooking and had to get hubby to go see who was in the drive. That pissed him off at me. Then I had to get him to take over cooking while I went out and didn't engage in gossip like she wanted me to. He was ugly to me when he came in to switch places with me.

Eeeeesh...People, leave me the fuck alone. I'm not feeling it in the least.

 

I almost forgot that I made Kahlua earlier today!


Evening coffee will be good.

Yep, the kahlua coffee was delicious.

 

I've got an eye appointment this morning. My right contact just isn't working for me so hoping she can correct it. The vision is fine but it tends to dry and hurt when taken out. My left eye is fine. I need to change fluids every two hours minimum for the right eye which when I'm playing a 4hr pool match, it's just not working for me and then when I get home, my eye is irritated for a whole day etc.

Hopefully she can fix it. because honestly, I mean, I'm playing so well at the moment, I've caught the attention of people, I'm getting a lot of attention, it's not impossible that in a couple of years I might be playing very good national matches.

 

That will be so cool and I can say "I knew her when..."!

 

I gotta play more and really practice. but, I can hold my own and or occasionally beat them. So. I'm close!

 

My eye is all good just "it's very dry" so I have to take some anti inflammatory drops and then I just have to take a lot more Care with them in terms of hydration. Means gel when I sleep and the re-wet tears every couple of hours or so. Just gotta be more vigilant they're big lenses, they're hard as plastic, they don't breathe.

I bought a bottle of spray where you spray your eyelids when closed and it gives them moisture.

 

I'm glad it's nothing serious.

Gel in the eye at night sounds nice and soothing.

So yeah, take care of your peepers; you only get one set!

 

I know you knew this was coming but I am sorry to read it. Hard to see someone pass on in such a harsh way.

I am sure she really appreciated not only the ice cream but also the time spent with you. Big hugs for you!!!
