    I know; it's like a deafening quiet.

It'll get lots louder in hear when we start running air conditioners and fans. During the Winter, it takes me a while to get use to the relative quiet without them.

That is really hard to come back from without the cancer. A lot of people do not know that most secondary cancer or metastasized cancer is the original cells not new. So it means you actually have lung cancer cells in the body. Makes treatment often impossible as the body and lymph glands do not respond to chemo or radiation the same as lung. It takes so much to heal from either one of these.

So sorry to read all this about your neighbour. No wonder your light and energy is all over the place.

Yes, they decided that treatment is not an option.

I've known the lung cancer was back since January. I knew she had three tumors and she was getting chemo and radiation. What they've discovered since the hip broke is just a huge shock that no one was ready for.

Her daughter is staying by her side as much as possible.

Thank you, Heather. It's just a matter of having to abruptly change your thinking into accepting that the cancer is going to win this time.

me too! I guess. but as your post from ?today? reads, I will go work on that.

    this!
honestly, that's why I am the way I am on here. hehe but it IS nice to be able to recognize the honesty about it, that we aren't all just crazy mad happy all of the time. We try to make it that way though...yes, to get out of that empath mindset.

ohh, i hope i didnt just make an ass of myself. This was kind of, maybe, a sensitive subject in another social circle that I'm not sure if I was being "insensitive" about...omg! what a vicious circle!! :p ok, nevermind. so....

Glen's been having fun with the toaster I noticed. [IMG]

working in one of the bedrooms and nessie comes within an arms reach of me and shits on the floor. without thinking i got so pissed i threw her outside. then for the next 2 hours checked to see if she came back.
last thing i need is for her to go missing 2 days before my mom takes her back.
she just came back, at least she knows that isnt accepted in my house but it would be nice if my mom spent some time training her better.

thanks folks! (don't know if i have likes left)

Meliai, actually i have....once, and hated it. thing is it's like a sedative, only I still had need to get up like every hour. I swear I twisted my ankle when I had to use that ?because I just was so knocked out and wasn't aware of like my body?? (idk. it was a really bad time healthwise. nevermind). hmm really interesting news! my instinct was right on that then i guess! :p
NSAIDs, I believe it was Etodolac that I used for quite awhile in my recovery. Tramadol comes to mind, but not an NSAID. I didn't REALLY like this one either though, but I have strong feelings that it was the Meloxicam that I just despised.

Sorry, hmm what's funny now?? I'm soo trying to get off this computer...someone help me out!

    g'nite!

no seriously, ok, need something funny....

well, this was the last I laughed at. (will have to reply to dreadsection tomorrow)

    but this
"Gotta share this in hopes it might safe another dreaded soul from the 40-minute baking soda/ACV process in the shower many times a week."

because it's funny how so many actually use BS/ACV and have come up with less than annoying methods for it. So idk, kindof a burn on BS users, but then also a burn on how dumb this poster was...but hey! good news for J.R. Liggett shampoo! (ok, that's for drummamama or sorry, idk names :p)

    k, bye! :D
