The dog is once again ignoring her pups. Even when I pick one up and put it under her. This bitch would kill her pups if nobody was around.

Sounds like a good reason to empty the store shelves and stock up on ice-melt at home depot…ha, ha..

We got about 9 inches but there were places on the south shore and cape cod that got blasted with 15-20 inches

You always hear that some dogs just aren't good mothers.

    I had a good nap.

I drank some Powerade and had a sandwich.

    I've washed dishes.

I think I'll try to go bake the cookies that I've had the butter softening for.

I still have the headache but it's not so intense right now.

Maybe the reason nessie needs breaks from the pups is because they fight for positions. I figured she might be sore from them sucking on her but them lil bitches scratch her and each other like crazy trying to squeeze into a tiny spot.

I wish I had some suggestions for you.

All I've dealt with is orphaned kittens a few times.

Just got the funniest video. Watching stuff off the DVR. I recorded the new years eve show just in case anything good happened. (Mariah Carey made it worth my time) as I put on the show the pups started chomping away at nessies tips. So I recorded it for my mom. She was asking me to take lots of pics but a pic wouldn't do justice to how hard they were sucking. So I am video recording them just as the song "it's all about that milk money" comes on. I struggled holding the phone still because I was laughing so hard.

Just heard a loud banging. Went upstairs to see what fell. Room to room nothing was out of place. Get to the guest bedroom and the cat is there. I watch her for a few seconds to see if she has that guilty look. Then I see a bird fly to the ceiling fan. The cat is going after it so I think...go grab the phone and record it. I close doors trying to coral it to the front door. I get it out of the room and into the foyer upstairs. Cat follows along. It kept flying from the window to the top of the steps on the opposite side of the foyer. I put the phone in my pocket and try to guide it down the steps. It tries to fly to the window and I swing down trying to make it fly down the steps...I instead hit it down in front of the window. Barely grazed it but before it had a chance to recover the cat pounced on it and ran with it. I tried to grab the cat and throw her outside while the bird was in her mouth but she was having none of that. The cat ran away from me better than she ever did when she wasn't carrying (a sparrow I am guessing) in her mouth. I gave up. She is in the other room. I hope she dosnt get a disease from it but I am done trying to prevent that from happening.

There is a hole to the attic and a hole from the attic to the bar. I covered the hole...apparently not good enough. Too cold to recheck it now.

That reminds me of the excitement we had one year when a bird flew in when we opened the door. It was on a snow day.

I vaguely remember getting it shooed outside before a cat got it. We were mainly concerned with keeping it out of the ceiling fan.

    Good times.

Usually I lock the room and open a window until it goes out...usually it's not below freezing though.
