What I've done so far has been pricey, for me, even with everything on discount. What I want to do is unobtainium... Rocks are involved.

lol...a spell that uses unobtainium. [IMG]

and if you could find that unobtainium ... you'd never need to cast another. ;)

    Hold the Fort, folks.

Weekend host of Coast to Coast Am, George Knapp, uses that word in his opening every week.

Like a sirocco, blazing across the land, into your town, into your home, slamming into your radio like a supercharged nano particle of unobtanium

Here is a photo of baby cakes yesterday......with her custom made Minnie Mouse cake.....
She gives new meaning to the phrase spoiled brat, too....lol....Even her dad calls her that....Stan's nephew.....so this little girl is Stan's neice once removed or something....
With millions of gifts given to her...if she did not like something, she would toss it like garbage across the room....LOL
I don't think she cared much for the expensive doll i gave her. She liked the old fashioned Minnie Mouse. Mickey she could give two craps about, though.... :D

I told Stan next year, you put a check in a card for her...i am not going through this again. i could not wait to get back home to my neighbor's little girl....who lives with her dad and ......his dad and stepmom......The wife left my neighbor's son and her little girl for another person....a woman...ok...nuff said.....My neighbor's son has been devastated for over almost 2 years now. he did not see that coming, and his little girl is not spoiled at all.......

Damn......I never saw such spoiledness before yesterday..... :D

I'm happy about figuring out what I need to do to my hair.

That is big in my world, lol

It's longer in the back right now and I don't like that.

Friday, when I get money, I'm going to have the back cut at least even with the front, and probably just slightly shorter. I'll have a nice little Gatsby-looking wavy bob and that will be cute growing out even more!

Yay for me figuring out what I need to have done!

Did some trim mowing this morning with the push mower, (AFTER FIXING IT!) then watered (AGAIN!) and fed the hummingbirds. Did some laundry while all this was happening. Gotta wait for it to cool down outside before I finish mowing the backyard... It's a scorcher out there.

Hubby told me he saw a hummingbird on Saturday so I've got the feeder soaking in vinegar water to get the mildew out. I'll get it out there tonight and they'll have so fun in the morning with it.

There have been 3 hummingbirds for the last 2 years.

I've been feeding Hummingbirds for over a month already... Way early this year.

After they breed I end up with about 10 or so by the end of the season. When I lived out in Mariposa, CA. I would get about 300 a day... (rough guesstimate) 3 feeders, around 3 gallons of nectar everyday during the summer. That was a lot of birds! They would be three deep in a holding pattern at the feeders.

One was just hovering at my shoulder watching me stain the wood parts on my BBQ.... "What'cha doin' mister?"

It was not that so much...and at least she did not fling any of the things i gave her across the floor....I saw how hurt looking some of her relatives were, though, about their gifts to her........There were 16 other people there.

What annoyed me was about a month ago i sent over a beautiful thin cotton white dress with pink fainest stripes and it was the sweetest dress for her. I thought it would make a pretty birthday dress....Stan delivered a bunch of things over there 1 month ago for me. I would have kept that dress and other things given them to someone else. I got no thanks ...no nothing for all that....and she was wearing the most god awful piece of polyester shit dress mu mu that i would not put on my worst enemy on a boiling hot day,. Don't people know that polyester is hot, and thin cotton is cooler? Maybe her mom just tossed that stuff in the garbage...and it was expensive stuff that was never worn by any human....so maybe that is where she learned how to do that.

Anyway...cleaning done,..and now I have to get me ready..... :)

I spent the day cleaning out some growth around an oak tree in my yard. There is some beautiful foliage in there, some mature azaleas and rhododendrum as well as some other plants I don't recognize. I'm not sure if the previous owners who planted it did much with it after planting it, my sister is the current owner and lived here 5years and I don't think she fooled with it at all. When we decided we are going to buy the house this year at the end of our lease I finally decided to put some effort into it but holy shit it is a pain in the ass. I spent 2 hours clearing out oak growth today and barely scratched the surface. I have never seen an oak tree proliferate like this.

After I clear out all the oak saplings the rhododendrum needs to be trimmed. It grows about 8 feet high around the oak trunk. And I need to trim everything else up to try to make the whole thing look cohesive instead of one big mass of growth.

There is also some nasty, thorny vine wrapped around the whole mess. I started pulling it up by the root today and kept pulling and pulling until I gave up about 15 feet from the tree and just cut it because I was tearing up the yard pulling it up.

So after that I gave up and went and drank mimosas at a friend's pool..
