I think i ran into the same problem with the train last year. and I looked for the track but couldnt find it. the part that supplies the electricity is missing.. couple reasons why the track may be missing. it was run over by the cleaners when they vacuum, someone stepped on it, the last people long before I worked here didnt give a shit, it was crushed by gifts.
I have the power pack, houses, and a factory building. I put some leads on the engine and it did power up. but it just sit there on the floor .. gonna drive me nuts. I want it to work. I checked with hobby store close by but their website dont help at all.

I'm getting this for my grandson.

 

I need 12 piece of 15" radius and power, to make the space that's given. probably the reason for that missing track is its radius was to wide, and made the circle to big.
Ill have to start all over from new track because the other sections left have to be 18'' radius track. I just figured that out on the model train site.
wont have many cars other than the locomotive, a hopper and caboose .. would be cool had two locos but this was probably a set that only came with the basics. I have a couple of cars here at home but wont be able to use them because of limited space. I just want to make it go around. Im sure if its tended to and watched nobody will kick it over. I believe they can be run for extended periods of time without causing any fire issue. people see it moving they are not going to kick it over or throw gifts on it. Ill just send a mass email: Please look both ways and dont step on the train.

The brewery I was at on Thanksgiving eve has a train that goes all around the brewery and bar and diner sections.

 

There are now 10 dead from the Gatlinburg, TN forest fire.

 

our giant eagle store has an O scale train that goes over the frozen section.. takes some time to make it all the way around.

 

I think it would be interesting to see a train that is so long that its motor unit goes all the way till it almost touches the caboose. (Yeah I know it would need a couple motors to pull all that weight)

This second half of Season 4 of Vikings is really going to be difficult to watch. I know how it ends and I don't like what will happen.
