I laughed so hard at this.

The goat got out of the fence again and we finally hemmed it up in the carport. My son carried it back to the chain link fence in the back yard. It went into the junk room under the sun room.

We talked about it and my son decided to miss his daughter's sports banquet tonight and to take it back to his dad.

The poison ivy in the back is about 3 or 4 ft tall.

Son decides that he is scared of whatever o'possum or raccoon might be in that place with the goat. I told him that I wasn't scared of either of them, only snakes.

I end up going in after the goat and we get a looped leash around it's head.

Son goes to shower because he was in the poison ivy with shorts and sandals.

He had an old pen of some kind that the goat fit in so he was carrying to the truck when who do we look up and see, but crazy neighbor.

I'm hoping the goat will be quiet because I don't want her knowing our business.

We're almost to the truck when the goat yells.

I decide to yell like it and turn it into a fake laugh so crazy neighbor will think it's me laughing. I got tickled at myself the more I did it, so I did it alot, lol

The goat is black. Piper is black and I know crazy neighbor has noticed that Piper hasn't been outside with us for a few weeks.

Son gets the goat into the back seat of the truck and when he goes around to get in to drive, crazy neighbor yells "Hey, is that a dead animal in there?"

    Son laughs and goes "Nah."

He kind of acted like he thought he owed her an explanation until I reminded him that it was none of her business.

    She won't let it go.

She tells him she thought it was a dead animal.

She asks him if his mom was crying.

I lost it. It was so fucking funny that she thought I was squalling at the top of my lungs.

    She keeps on.

Son drives off just repeatedly telling her nothing more than "Nah."

I turn and walk into the house, straight faced.

    That nosy woman.

I told her a long time ago to mind her fucking business.

I found a nice stand of Jewelweed while I was out goat rustling!

Jewelweed is used to treat Poison Ivy.

Supposed to be doing a performance appraisal and drug calculations but they have changed the proforma so the wording is ridiculous and not clear.

Why is it not good enough to want to come to work, do a good job, get paid and go home?

    Workplace goals.....

I hate when something that works gets "improved" and it's ridiculous...like Facebook, or Hip Forums!

There have been lots of changes at my work over the last few years. Most for the better but this new improved paperwork (that somebody probably got paid 6 figures to develop) is making me feel like I can't read English or something.

Started cleaning oil/grass/dirt/gunk off of the Cub Cadet engine... Gotta track down this oil leak and fix it today. Hopefully it's just the oil pressure switch but who knows. I have a new switch but had replaced that part last summer. Even though I replaced it with a good used switch it shouldn't have started leaking again. Hope it's not something like a mains seal... I don't feel like taking the engine apart that far.

raining buckets. was nice enough i had to take off my jacket this morning on my way back from the store.
that's where i live. wait a few minuets if you don't like the weather and it will almost certainly change.
i'm east of the northern california mountains, over in nevada, but still at a fairly high elevation.
the summit on the freeway and the railroad is just above seven thousand feet.
over here to the east of it, the elevation is still around four thousand.

Might have found it and Q&D repaired it... (Q&D=quick and dirty) Oil breather hose was torn wide open right next to that switch. Old switch may still be okay, all the lost oil could be from that hose.

So, i'll see if it holds and the new switch is in... Just hope it's stopped losing oil. I need this thing running.

Piper is coming tomorrow! She will be with us for at least 4-5 nights! We're all so excited to spend time with her again!

I've got to clean up the mess I have where her kennel goes.

I've been sorting things and moving things around. Time to tidy it all up now.

These are the latest pics my daughter posted.

She's a beauty but I'm sad that they were made in the apartment complex parking lot. :(

    Piper is a beautiful dog!

Accomplishment? Not really.......I have a mountain of other work I need to do here.....and this was just a thimbleful of it......but as they say, little by little......

I need to pack what i want to bring to the big shed carefully with bubble wrap tonight, and then this little project is finished...and then i decide which next little project to start....not really little projects but compared to the mountain of crap I have to do here total, they are......

My intuition is running hot today!

I was out in the yard and I thought "It feels snakey. There's a snake right here but I don't want to see it." I went back in the house.

My son went out 5 minutes later and came back and told me that he saw a snake a few feet from where I'd felt it.

Then I was reading a news headline about a shooting at an apartment complex. I thought to myself "I wouldn't be surprised if that was where I use to live." I read down a few paragraphs and found our that I was right about the complex.

    I love days like this!
