My week on the night shift.

I wasn't serious about the husband part ;-)

But yes, first time in the States.

When it comes to USA, my interest is mostly in the northeast, for some reason.
Would love to explore those parts!
There won't be enough time for that now, unfortunately.
But maybe some day.

 

Some day look at upstate NY in all of its autumn golden splendor.....!

But there are many states in east-northern USA, just as beautiful, too....

 

You should come back with Irminsul when she and Laura come back to the States!

 

I think the DC area is glorious in cherry blossom time in the spring.

I do not know much about that part of this continent, though.

I just sewed up some rice bags to help turn our cooler into a warmer to keep some sandwiches warm during tournaments this weekend.

 

I've been having dinner and finishing laundry.

Now, I'm going to clean out the cooler, line it with foil, and put the hot rice bags in it. I'm preheating it. I'll make the sandwiches, wrap them in foil, and put them in the fridge for the night. In the morning I'll pop them in the oven before I put them in the warmer. It will be interesting to see how that all turns out.

 

And be the third wheel lol xD xD

They brought extra people with them last time they came.

 

Just Finished My Saturday Lunch Of Pizza....Wings ....And Wine.....And Hung Out The First Load Of Washing For

The Day Which May Just Get Cut Short Because We Have A Forecast For This Afternoon Of Severe Thunderstorms...... :yikes:
