I meant to tell you earlier, if you have Benadryl you can take it for the yellow jacket sting.

 

I only have topical benadryl.... It"s not working.

 

Baking Soda? You can make a paste with water.

 

Yeah... But I don't have any baking soda.


It's not going to kill me.... It's just weird how it's acting. Not normal for a Yellowjacket sting.

 

And The Rain Still Keeps Tumbling Down..........Where Is Noah When I Really Need Him......??????...

Yup, drama is way over rated!

Going to scrub some floors and then I hope to nap. We all have colds so sleeping last night was in short bursts due to nose and coughing.

 

This week is a school break for the girls.

I bought some supplies and helped them make some Alex & Ani -type bracelets yesterday.

Tomorrow, I'm taking one of them to the dentist.

The oldest will be 14 next week and the triplets are almost 10.

They mostly take care of themselves at this age.

 

3 more ferns to plant in the meditation garden... "extra" 4 bags of mulch to put down (not really extras because the mulch is thin in a few spots) One more bag of river stone to spread in the spillway.

Except for the bridge, the garden is done... For this year.

Yes! I got this in an email from my former trash service:

Spooky had another grand mal seizure... This time he fell down the metal spiral staircase and into the basement. Now he's laying around like nothing happened.

 

While I was planting those last ferns a juvenile raccoon came down out of the Oak overhanging the garden and got a drink out of the bowl of water next to the Stone Goddess.... He was about 5 feet away. He kept looking at me while I was talking to him/her/Idon'tknow like "what the hell kind of noises are you making anyways". Must have been very thirsty to be that close to a human.


Ferns are in and watered... Mulch and cleanup after that but it's too hot out there right now. It was showing 101 degrees in the sun when I got into the house... In late September... All perfectly normal, of course.

 

Kind of a sad day today... This morning I took down the hummingbird feeders, cleaned them up and let them dry... I'll put them away later. (once I figure out where the new "away" is)

There were a few juveniles around just a few days ago, but I'm not going to make another batch of nectar... They need to go catch up with their kin. I've been feeding them since May.

 

Just had a short nap. Very tired. I am still extremely excited about our pool win and advancing to final. Too much adrenaline going through me.

 

That would terrify me. I'm glad Spooky is okay now.

 

I know he feels them coming on but I doubt he remembers them after the fact. It's not like he's conscious through the whole thing.



Meanwhile...

 

I tried a new coffee place the other day. I thought it had cute name being called Silk. Yeah well, regrets. Worst coffee I'd tasted. So I went back the following day to make sure and it was even worse. Yuck. Now I feel bad for being a traitor to my usual grounds.
